Thank you for this. I’ve been primarily using the Stringer weapons because I find them fun and love playing support or anchor but it is a tricky weapon but very rewarding. The fact you can shoot over obstacles and surprise attack opponents is awesome.

The Stringers have been my main weapon so far. I switch from the Tri to Wellspring pretty often. It’s a fun weapon and the fact you can be support while still dishing out unsuspecting damage is super satisfying.

With the new well string being added next month, honestly think thermal ink can work wonders and with last ditch effort, since it shoots five bullets instead of three. Tho custom I feel respawn puncher for it can work since custom well has locator and wave breaker.

I know this video is a year old, but wanting to main Tri-Stringer as they are insanely fun and satisfying to kill with (those one shots man..) this is probably one of the most helpful videos related to the weapon I've found, so thank you!

Tristringer really is underrated. It's not that chargers that outrange it are better by default either, it just plays different. Yes, it's like a charger, but can chargers shoot over walls? NO Sloshers can go over walls, but do they have that range or accuracy? NO Can any other weapon shoot explosive projectiles? NO (Explosher doesn't count because the whole thing is an explosion) Can chargers paint that much? NO Really it just plays different and even though it's not a weapon I'd ever use, I respect it and the players who use it. Underrated weapon for sure

i like the build, but i personally like having one sub of ink recovery cause (while not classified as a value sub anymore) it is still extremely valuable with 1 sub when it comes to being ready to shoot again

Niche weapon. I know this weapons potential, and it was scary being on the opposite team.

I'd actually heavily recommend object shredder for tri-stringer! The three bomb-arrows can absolutely shred objects and specials in mere seconds when you use object shredder, I tear down splash walls, Big Bubblers and Crab Tanks like it's nobody's business.

Would Special Charge Up and Special Saver be good abilities? Killer Whale 2.0 is a pretty good special combined with Toxic Mist. You’d be surprised how many kills I’ve gotten/ you can get with the two. I only ask bc I don’t know what to add for abilities. For my head gear I have Last Ditch Effort with Ink Resistance Up, Clothes have Respawn Punisher and Ink Saver (Main) and I think Special Saver and Special Charge up would be good, right?
