I agree with the warriors games being low. They're super repetitive and missions take 25 to 30 minutes. Once youve played one warriors game you've played them all. The Zelda license makes it better though.

I just started playing Zelda games. I have totk and skyward sword hd already but I’ve barely started those. Should I pick up botw or skip it? Botw is $30 at Walmart which has my attention. After watching this video I feel like botw would be a good start then skyward sword hd and totk last.

I bought a Switch so I could play BOTW and TOTK, but then I decided to download the HWAOC demo and I was blown away. After playing the demo for almost 20 hours, I bought the game and I strongly believe it is one of the best games on the Nintendo Switch, period. The music is fantastic, the art direction is superb, the story is interesting and the mechanics are extremely satisfying. It's TOTK, BOTW and HWAOC for me.

Here is my list 7) Hyrule Warriors (A fun time killer with a lot of fan service, but little variety) 6) Age of Calamity (Same as previous but more story and character relevance, not just fan service) 5) Cadence of Hyrule (I wish Nintendo appreciated fan made spin offs like this more often. But another fun puzzle game) 4) Breath of the Wild (It is still a master-piece, but aside from its real big open world, there are moments of emptiness that make it off my top 5 mainline Zelda games) 3) Skyward Sword (I still thought this was one of the best 3D Zelda games period and starts my top 5 Zelda games list) 2) Link's Awakening (A wonderful remaster of my 4th favorite Zelda title. Only games that to this are Majora's Mask, A Link to the Past, and the last one here...) 1)Tears of the Kingdom (Easily the best 3D Zelda. It is the first truly perfected Open World experience that blows Skyrim, Fall Out, and even BotW out of water. It also has the best boss fights since Skyward Sword, and best Dungeon design since Majora's Mask on top of that. It might even be the best game ever yet, but needs to fight ALttP for best Zelda title and then Chrono Trigger for best game period.)

I thought the dungeons of TotK were so easy. I cheesed I think 3/4 of them. They were certainly a step in the right direction from BotW, but they pale in comparison to the absolute masterpieces of Skyward's Ancient Cistern and Sandship. TotK is probably tied with OoT as my 2nd favorite Zelda game. Hard to choose between them.

@@inarencommander4663 When I did the Water Temple, I realized how simple it was. And the Minibosses were often fought before the dungeons was something still in BotW. And looking back, I can agree Skyward Sword and Majora's Mask having better dungeons to crawl through via Ancient Cistern, Sandship, and Stone Tower Temple. But I do enjoy the bosses both mainline and optional. But despite that, I still think TotK is easily my favorite. I have pretty much my full list and I know a lot of people who grew up with OoT and can understand why they stull praise that as their favorite. But I personally notice some things that aren't the best aged as well as some things that feel underwhelming compared to future installments. OoT barely in the top 10 for me as I played all mainline Zelda games and some of the spinoffs. It's right next to Twilight Princess for me I will say.

@Jonny312. If the cheese is more apparent than the normal way, that's a problem with the dungeon's design. I prefer real puzzles in my Zelda games like the classics. Don't get me wrong, TotK is amazing, it just doesn't shine in the dungeon department.

tears of the kingdom is at the bottom of the list ITS A 5/10 GAME. This game is bloated, unfun, and a huge disrespect of my time. the combat system is broken and the item menu is total broken. not mention the controls are baffling and totally unintuitive that make no sense. They were lazy reusing the same world, The build mechanic is tedious. NO MORE OPEN WORLD GAMES. 100 hours of running from point A to point B ISNT FUN. This is game is a prime example of quantity over quality and Ive asked nintendo for a refund.

If it's one of your first open-world games, understandable. It's very difficult at the beginning, but it makes more sense over time. Plus, it's got an almost identical map to BotW, so if you've played that, it should eventually kick back in.

I would switch link's awakening, hyrule warriors age of calamity and the original hyrule warriors to the worst being hyrule warriors then hyrule warriors age of calamity and links awakening right before skyward sword. so I think skyward sword is way better than links awakening and hyrule warriors is at the very back because I just don't like dynasty warriors style of play but I prefer the age of calamity one because it at least relate to breath of the wild making a trilogy and the story is very rich in cutscenes.

So I actually have not really played any Metroid games. I have played a little of zero mission and recently got prime remastered and dread. But both have been sitting on the shelf. I will be adding Metroid to the request list I hope one day to play them all.

Link to the past, ocarina of time, skyward sword, BOTW, TOTK and I’ve always maybe struggled with a puzzle but been able to complete it. I fully could not figure out that dungeon and I stopped playing for the day, and then never came back

if you bought the game, just search for an answer online. TThere are always longplays and tutorials, etc. It can ultimatey save you the money you already payed and help yo uenjoy a game a bit more, and remember: this is a almost 1-1 remaster of a Gameboy game, and gameboy/NES games used to come with manuals, and people needed manuals to beat, so that's normal. If you are a nostalgic fan that's played the original you wond need it, and I think thats the main target audience, but there is no problem in searching for information
