That's why he changed the name from Reignited Collection to just The Joy of Creation now, since that title would no longer be accurate.

you've probably gotten other comments that explain it already BUT: the popgoes and joy of creation games are basically fangames that have official funding behind them. scott cawthon has this programme where very popular fangames can be sort of "officialized" in some capacity by being sold on digital game stores like steam and have merch produced of their original fnaf-characters. he doesn't actually oversee development on any of the fangames, he just gives them funding. all of the games in the programme are very old fangames, which is mainly why popgoes only takes into account the first 3 games (cuz the rest of them didnt exist back then lol). scott also made it clear that none of the fangames would be canon in any capacity to the official fnaf story, it's more like a "i want to give money to this cool fan-made work and this is my way of doing that".

Five Laps At Freddy's has nothing on Garfield Kart - Furious Racing, that game is the pinnacle of gaming, I would say it's the best piece of art humanity has ever made, the inventor of the wheel would be HONORED to know their invention is in the magnum opus of mankind. Think of the 20 best games you've ever played. Garfield Kart - Furious Racing is better than all of them combined, we're simply not ready as a species to witness the BRILLIANCE of Garfield Kart - Furious Racing. Oh and the video is cool as well, 7/10, did not mention Garpeak Kart- Furious Racing

For weather or not MyPopgoes is cannon to the main games, no. The Popgoes series is a fan game series that Scott published under the “Fazbear Fanverse initiative” which paid fan game devs to have their games published. Sadly it went under a lot of controversy, and I don’t think anymore developers will be accepted or can apply for it.

Good news in regards to TJOC, the full game will indeed take place in different locations with unique mechanics. It is actually a full remake of The Joy of Creation: Story Mode, similar to Resident Evil 4 Remake was to its original. It has the same structure, but significantly improved gameplay and a revamped story.

Great video, but I though Into The Pit was one of the FNAF games with the clearest storylines. I watched a playthrough and it looks like you just time travel and try to save your dad. Sure theres a lot of lore to dig your teeth into, but if you just play the game casually it's a simple and understandable narrative.

Into the Pit story is based off a story in one of the books, its not canon to the main timeline Also spoiler for one of the endings: the reason why foxy doesn't exist is because you are implied to turn into foxy at the end

The joy of creations demo is actually a remake of an older fnaf fangame of the same name made by the same developer. Theres 4 older the joy of creation games. The 1st is the original demo which sucks and is just shining flashlight into one of four areas till you die. The 2nd is the free roam mode which is basically slender the 8 pages but theres a level for each animatronic, each with their own map and gimmicks. Then theres the halloween edition which is the entire fnaf 3 map as a free roam where you use your phone for the cameras. Finally theres the story mode, its a massive game that uses the normal fnaf formula but each night takes place in a different room. It has cutscenes, voice acting, secrets and is the one being remade for reborn. If you wanna play any of them theyre on gamejolt.
