I think a big part of that is because Don Mancini has stayed on board the entire time and even the ones that are just meh still have the characters being consistent as well as well its the same guy so even if the tones are different they will give somewhat of a similar vibe

Bride of chucky is one of those movies that i can watch over and over and never get tired of it because of how much fun it is, i will never understand why some fans hated it, seed sure but bride is amazing.

Great rankings! Thinking about it more I think the introduction of the Tiffany character reinvented the series and maybe saved it from a possible downturn after 3. It gave it a different dynamic altogether where things were going a little stale.

I love these movies so much! Funny story: my mom has a vivid memory of babysitting one night when the first movie was coming out and the trailer scared her to pieces. Needless to say she was probably a little perturbed that I grew to love these movies. 😂 I surprisingly enjoyed the more comedic movies with Tiffany. Jennifer Tilly’s voice is so cute and Tiffany is such a fun character that I can’t help but enjoy her and Chucky together. If you like the movies maybe you should do videos on the TV series, which is pretty good so far! 😊

I use to watch it all the time as a kid, and have a lot of nostalgia for it. I thought that I would have fallen out of love with it upon rewatch all these years later for how bad it is, but it's still as good and entertaining as I remember.) 1. Yea, I recently watched child’s play 2 on Tubi. As that one was the one I remember liking the most as a kid. I remember watching it when I was in grade 3 with my older sister. And pissing ourselves laughing at that part, where that guy gets killed towards the end, by getting plastic eyes injected into his face.

Seed of Chucky is a misunderstood masterpiece 🤣, I just love it and It's actually a very queer movie which definitely explains to me why it was so hated back in 2004. Films like this embraced the LGBT community back then, so yeah, it's very special for me... 💅💅👄

Further throughout this franchise Absolute Detestable lack of Rewatchability, Seed of Chucky has more of the worst tropes bland acting I’ve ever seen in a Horror prequel, mundane Kills wasn’t scary felt juvenile at times. Child’s Play 2019 one thing I appreciate we’re the Andy Barclays friends he can socialize wit thought that we’re coo, otherwise Aubrey plaza wasn’t the casting choice to portray his mother, left huge portion of the Charles Lee Ray essence. Tolerable Cult of Chucky while I still do believe this is a Train-wreck but the more it gave the no-vest towards old chucky Throwing Sadistic one liners, ode to the OG characters for the appearance, story arc is a mixed bag. Curse of Chucky while Fiona dourif delivered a fantastic performance, Chantal Quensel has a good role, Chucky out for a good old fashioned revenge murder mystery factor which I still found it entertaining. Now ones I love Child’s Play 3 Straight Nostalgia vibe plus I’m always in the mood for a military setup location taking place away from the inner city. Child’s play it’s already been say across the globe classic slasher especially the blueprint on how children messing around with toy dolls at its brink. Bride of Chucky funniest of them all Child’s Play 2 has the most likable characters, Cooky Toy factory nothing much to say that wasn’t good other than few Corny jokes.

Still a descent remake, Mark Hamill did good. 3) Child's Play 1988 (4.5/5) 2) Child's Play 2 (4.5/5) - Best of the first 3 movies and the best installment in terms of creativity and development. 1) Cult of Chucky (5/5) - So Underrated. Sorry, I just liked this one the most. Cool cinematography and of course Andy and Tiffany are great characters in this one. The pacing of Curse was definitely obnoxious, as were all the characters aside from Nica and Alice. But I enjoyed it for some reason. Bride is low on my list, but it was an awesome movie. I only didn’t really like the remake.

My Rankings from Best to Worst 1.) "Child's Play 2" (1990) - Yeah, I know it's a bit cliché, but can you blame me? It's the pinical chucky movie and takes everything great from the original and amplifies it. 2.) The Original "Child's Play" (1988) - If this movie never had ANY sequels, I would be 100% fine with it because gosh darn it, I love the original (with the second one obviously beating it out, but only by a little bit). I love the take on Voodoo in this movie, as it's something not really explored in horror movies ans chucky was fucking scary in this and his look/movement was so uncanny. It has its flaws but it's still incredibly enjoyable. 3.) "Bride of Chuky" (1998) - For me, it's one of those movies where if you allow yourself to suspend your disbelif on, it's super entertaining. Yeah it might not ne scary but I don't really watch this one to be "scared" necessarily. 4.) "Cult of Chucky" (2017) - I also really liked COC, but I definitely don't think it's without its flaws. I love the gore, it's very reminiscent of older films. 5.) "Child's Play 3" (1991) - The main reason I like this one more than most is purely for nostalgic reasons, then again there really isn't a movie in the series that I "hate" as the nostalgia is also what keeps me enjoying them as much as I do. It's definitely a straight repeat of the first but by itself its okay. 6.) "Seed of Chucky" (2004) - I think it's obvious why this would be lower on the list but like I've said, I still have a lot of enjoyment and nostalgia for it and I definitely don't hate it. 7.) "Curse of Chucky" (2013) - I like how it's a back to form kind of movie and the way Don Mancini improved his filmmaking skills are phenomenal, but I do have to agree with you that it feels more like a generic horror movie and they way the dumped all the exposition at the end felt like a last minute decision. 8.) "Child's Play" (2019) - Definitely one of the better horror movie remakes out there, I actually really liked it but if I have to pick either this one or the original, the original is gonna win.

I think the main reason why I dont enjoy this franchise is because they over mixed comedy/horror and they take this franchise way too serious. IMO this shouldnt have become a whole franchise. I only enjoyed the first one LMAOOO. But I still enjoyed seeing you talking about this franchise

I just thought it was really weird that they went back to the roots of the franchise by not letting chucky talk for the first 45 minutes of the movie because he’d already been such a well established character at that point. So I was bored. The most fun I have with the franchise is when he’s running around like a little badass and causing trouble
