In this ultimate ranking of the Mario RPGS in every series from Paper Mario, to Mario and Luigi, and games like Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, and Super Mario RPG, we are joined by Nin10doland: / @nin10doland , and Dafawfulizer: kzbin.info... where all 3 of us list our worst to best Mario RPGs. Partners in Time and Inside Story are tied as my favorite Mario RPGs, maybe even my favorite games ever. Partners has an insanely satisfying combat system (if you use badges and gear the right way enemies are jokes. I don't see the criticism on enemy health pools.) and the way they made the babies act like extensions of the Bros. abilities in combat felt really smart and simple despite being four entire characters. The item-based special attack system made sense because having 2 groups of characters that split apart often have separate BP meters would be pretty dumb and would reward players too much for only using basic attacks. The story and atmosphere is also amazing, every area feels like its own little story and nothing overstays its welcome in the plot.

I played Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam all the way through twice. It was my first RPG. I loved the music, but it isn’t as good as I remember it being. It certainly made me love all the newer games more.

bob Bob SPM is the third most popular. Popularity is based on the percentage of console owners who own the game as well as the game’s reception; not sales totals. The ratio of PM64 sales to N64 sales is equal to SPM to the Wii (4.16%) but PM64 had a better reception. TTYD to GameCube sales is higher (8.79%) and had an even better reception. Unless u want to rely on raw sales totals and believe “Afro Samurai” is more popular than “Earthbound”, then SPM is third

I really think everyone is under rating super mario rpg. All of the things game domain praised paper mario for were pretty much borrowed from super mario rpg. Super mario rpg gave these games the 2 things that make them unique: the action command battle system, and the humorous writing. Not to mention the seven star storyline which was adopted by the next two games. PS. I wouldn't even include super paper mario on this list.....its not an rpg haha.

And I thought it was my bad gmaeplay, regarding the HP of regular enemies in M&LPit to high. I avoided the fight sdue to their high Health and ended up tormenting myself once with at the end with an even more overpowered Boss. But it was fun. This might have even added the serious tone in the Game. The Shroobs have been scary when I was younger. Making them such strong opponents, helped buying them as a real threat to the World.

They said Sticker Star and Paper Jam's chapters followed the New Super Mario Bros world themes, and you said it wasn't out then. NSMB DS came out in 2006, Sticker Star came out in 2012, and Paper Jam came out in (I think) 2016

Here's my rankings: 12) Sticker Star - No explanation needed. Just... B A D! 11) Super Mario RPG - It's dated. It's not bad, but I just didn't enjoy it as much. Geno is great though! 10) Paper Jam - Just the worst M&L 9) Paper Mario 64 - Felt underwhelming, to be honest 8) Partners in Time - I just didn't enjoy it as much and Elder Princess Shroob was horrible to fight 7) Color Splash - Not actually that bad, just a flawed battle system and an unoriginal main villain with terrible motives 6) Superstar Saga - Not an overly deep story, but Cackletta's Soul is an epic battle! Bowletta however... is a big mistake! 5) Mario & Rabbids - Kingdom Battle - Really fun actually. I love rabbids anyway so this was a welcome crossover. Plus, who doesn't want to see Yoshi with a machine gun or an operatic Rabbid dissing Mario? 4) Dream Team - Interesting new ideas in the game battle-wise and Antasma is amazing 3) Origami King - Probably gonna be ignored by those stubborn TTYD fans who don't even bother playing the new PM games, but it's really good! 2) Bowser's Inside Story - Best M&L and Fawful is great. Final battle music is dope and everything is great with this. 1) Super Paper Mario - The best story in a Mario game EVER, amazing characters and soundtrack! So where's TTYD? Well, I haven't played it. My guess, between Color Splash and Superstar Saga. I feel it's probably over-glorified by some TTYD fans (you know if you're one of them!) but still seems pretty good. I already like Doopliss and Shadow Queen Phase 2 music! SPM is my favourite. Any one else out there an SPM guy?

I feel like this video would’ve been better if you like, collaborated all into one list, rather than all having your own separate lists. It’s like, you all have pretty similar things to say about each game, so herring the same thing multiple times can be annoying. Plus it makes the video too long and kinda difficult to follow.

19:31 (PTSD flashbacks) I’m not going to lie as a kid I raged quit at this part of the game. I actually ended up thinking the game was bad and the series was bad afterwards. (I was a young kid) Many years later I honestly think the Mario RPGs are the best Mario games there is. It really sucks now that Alpha Dream is gone now. I should revisit Bowser’s Inside Story soon but I need to find where my cart went. I have the box as well as the manual, but I don’t know where the game cart is now. Update: I found out where it is my sister has it and she wanted to keep it until she beats the game, which I’ll let her keep it for that long. At least know where it is now!

Guys we must get our weapons now, he doesn't like Bowser's inside story the most... jk I have the game but when I was smaller I hated Bowser's inside story because I got stuck on something. It wasn't a boss or a map, it was the carrot mini game but now it's not that hard because since I was a preschooler I didn't care about reading the text but when I tried to read it, I was so bad at reading. I am surprised I beat swiggler in partners in time and not sunnycide because I still take a while beating sunnycide but at least I beat him right.

RK (it's rabids, but it has pretty good lore and battle system) 9. PJ (worlds collide games are nice, also loved the paper attacks and my game came with a fun papercraft which was fun, of course 8. SUS (great soundtrack and great characters, really, all the MaL games are good 7. SPM (good adventure aspect and mr L is a pretty creative idea) 6. PM (it started the PM series so it's cool, also i wish I could play it more because there was L e v e l) 5. PIT (also started, baby mario and baby luigi have never had an important role since this game. if you think yoshi counts... nah 4. SMRPG (GENOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO) 3. TTYD (fighting system? okay, yep, that's putting that here!) 2. DT (adventure aspect shines, good soundtrack, don't remember the pillow but he was cool) 1. BIS (I LOVE THIS GAME, everyone is rememberable, the adventure aspect will never be beaten, and DAMN, that soundtrack is just so... great! also, you think the carrot was hard? first 5 tries. meanwhile, i hated the pollen minigame! haha, fools...)

I remember I got stuck for months on the carrot part purely because I didn't realize you were supposed to tap on the pieces that fell down at the same time that the sound played. Great game overall, 11/10.
