I see you skipped a pet peeve of mine: people disconnecting train cars by simply pulling out a single slug of metal. In reality, trains were _never_ connected so simply, and especially not in the 70's; but even if they were, that slug would be shouldering a great deal of the train's weight and momentum, making it absolutely impossible to pull out, especially by hand. And, _and,_ even if they did, the sudden catastrophic loss of directed power would instantly cause at least one of the train cars to derail, more likely the whole train.

Aside from SD2 featuring both monsters in the museum, I think the Pterodactyl Ghost's episode would've been better if the plot revolved around a dig site, and either the radioactive minerals(which dino bones can be radioactive) brought the ghost of a Pterodactyl fossil to life, or rumors of them surviving today like the Ropen and Kongamato two Pterosaur like cryptids. As for Milo Booth I figured he got his name from Edwin and John Wilkes Booth, Edwin his brother was an actor of his time who actually save Robert Lincoln from an oncoming train.

I designed the Space Kook and Professor Pericles shirt you might see occasionally, but those are a single run for just me and my daughter, so I don't worry about copyright issues. I still had to use an overseas printer to do those as stateside ones didn't want to run the risk. It'd be a lot trickier to do that for selling merch unless I contracted with an artist to draw a rendition from scratch that would avoid the issue. I have done a little bit of research as to the costs involved with ordering a commission from a few artists who do stuff for other KZbin creators and while it's not extremely expensive, it's still a bit more than I'm able to justify for my channel size. I've been toying with ideas as to celebrate hitting 10K subs (IF AND WHEN, I should stress), and in addition to producing a "making of" video showing what it looks like creating my stuff from this end, I've also considered doing a limited T-shirt run. That's still far in the future, but I'm glad to come across the occasional comment letting me know there might be interest in it. Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing!

It's interesting to note that despite Jim being introduced as the studio chief by Mr. Mogul, Shaggy refers to him as a detective when he's unmasked. That line combined with the fact that he's introduced after Dee finds the threatening note and how he seems to be in charge of the investigation leads me to wonder if there was a rewrite at some point. It seems possible that he was originally the detective called in to investigate the threat instead of the studio chief and they forgot to change Shaggy's line, it would mean that he wasn't making any money off of Dee's movies beforehand which could explain how he intended to profit from the kidnapping, by acting as her manager or coach going forwards.

The Pterodactyl Ghost having an almost identical set up to the Snow Ghost episode is funny. I’m curious how the writers decided to rehash the episode but with a Pterodactyl. As for Milo Booth’s Ghost, Jim Moss may be dumber than Carl the Stuntman, a feat I thought to be close to impossible, though the baseball loving guy that made the Phantom Virus, who also liked baseball, might be up there as well. Very low scoring episode, I’m hoping the villains step it up for the next episode.

I will give him credit for actively leading the investigation to his own crime however, that let him give the kids instructions so he could further his plan under the guise of trying to help solve the case. Picking the disguise of the monster in the movie that was being remade was also a fitting choice.

Someone else I know is dying she's got days at best, she's not someone i was close with I only saw her a few times but of course any death is sad especially 5 in one year. However, I do have some good news though. I was well into my teens before my first funeral and it was the husband of one of my mother's friends. I had met the guy once but that was it. The first funeral for a loved one was well into my thirties. I still have one grandparent living and they're in their mid-90s. The worst funeral was for a good friend who shot himself back in 2010. Not that ANY funeral is exactly a ball of laughs. After a bunch of surgeries and going through mild cancer, I'm fairly blasé about death anymore which, I realize, is NOT how everyone feels so I have to be very careful when discussing it with others. I'm like that about cancer as well, which I also learned is not something everyone else feels comfortable laughing about, regardless of whether or not it's a cancer survivor making the joke. Mourning is entirely about the ones left behind and their feelings should always be what's kept most important, but it is still odd for someone as young as you having to deal with so much death, even if the ones who passed may be only tangentially related. I'm assuming you're not in one of the, uh, "less peaceful" parts of the world where, sadly, children live with death all around them. Not as though that is good either. NO CHILD should have to deal with mortality at such a young age. I'm glad your eye issue isn't as bad as you suspected. It's always a relief getting good medical news! I'm also glad that I can provide some emotional relief, regardless of how little it is. Often, all we need to feel better is just to be distracted, and a whole bunch of little distractions can equal one big one.
@amitysluzara202211 күн бұрын
@JoeGoesOver thank goodness you was in your teens when you went to your first one, it's never good going to any but at least you didn't have to go any super young. My first one was when I was 8 or 9 for my grandad who died of cancer, I don't have many memories of him sadly :( I'm so sorry about your friend from 2010 I cannot imagine how horrifying and heartbreaking that must've been 💔 I've had to have a few surgery's before too, I've had 2 dermoid cysts before. One was removed in 2009 if I remember correctly? They removed 99% of it, the 1% left shouldn't have come back that's why it was left and they said if I hadn't had that 99% removed I'd have died... as for that 1% I think you know where the 2nd dermoid cyst came from... it was fully removed in 2021 this time. We had 2 scares about it being back after too though. Last year we had a scare but it was all fine what happened is normal to happen within the first year or 2, although I feel guilty as the day after I got the all clear I found out my dad was on the cancer pathway so I feel guilty since I survived my health scare yet my dad died. Then I had another earlier this year but that was down to stress after everything Thankfully I don't live in one of the less peaceful parts of the world I live in the UK. I count myself lucky to not be in one of those parts... it breaks my heart thinking about all those who live there nobody should have to live the way they have to every single day. Thanks ^^ it definitely is good to have good news for once this year Oh yeah definitely a distraction really helps no matter how small even if it's just a distraction for a minute that makes a minute slightly easier

Ok not gonna lie ,but i totally forgot about the Milo Booth episode ,the only thing i remembered from this episode was Scooby-Dee, not the plot or the villain outfit ( which is weird because I don't think i could ever forget that face ) just Scooby-Dee and the train . On the topic of dogs in the Scooby multiverse and their agency : I believe that dogs in the Scooby multiverse are generally more intelligent that the dogs we know ,even if they don't speak, a trait which is mostly associated with the Scooby family ,many of them display signs of greater intelligence than the average dog .Examples that come to mind are Chiquita from the Monster of Mexico ,those six Golden Retriever puppies from the What's New series , the same episode where those six pups debuted also had a more intelligent dog as a villain etc. I will also like to add that we also saw an example of an alien disguised as a dog (Amber) As a sidenote the originality factor that is used when judging the design and outfit of the villain is strange to me ,because it feels more like the writers fault than the villain's fault .If we were judging the episode itself then fair point, but we are judging the villain and his/her scheme and it would be impossible for a villain to know that another villain had a similar plan and/or costume in the past ,especially if we go by the theory that every Scooby series it's a separate universe Anyway ,enough rambling ,great analysis as expected and thanks for all the effort you put into these videos
@JoeGoesOver7 ай бұрын
While I realize on the surface it seems unfair to judge the villain for their originality, considering they'd have no idea that a guy across the country from a different Scooby series from eight years earlier had a very similar costume, remember the villain is just a construct of the writer and animators. I'm clearly judging the creators for their originality (or lack thereof), but that's fine because, in a way, it could be said I'm ranking the people who made the villain as much as the villain themselves. It's not too dissimilar to judging a parent based on their child's actions. Cartoon characters don't have free will, so in the end, their entire being is merely an extension of everyone who had a part in their creation. Thanks for such a thoughtful comment and I hope I put to rest the debate on judging a villain's originality. Thanks for watching as well!
