their chemistry is off the charts, this isn't their only song together. they also harmonize amazingly together. just the perfect two for duets.

I suspect they're the very definition of a love/hate relationship. They are almost diametrically opposed on a whole range of issues, but I think each appreciates the other's artistry.

I actually preferred the live version he performed with Martina McBride way over the album version. Martina is just on a different level vocally.

Kid Rock is best friends with Hank Williams Jr. We ran into them at a local sporting goods store in Montgomery, Alabama a few years ago. They were very nice and took time to talk to everyone. Very down to earth people!

They actually wrote it together. There is an interesting backstory because her label wouldn't release it as a single so he got another singer. The disc jockeys ignored it and played the original instead. My guess is this why they had a low budget video. Record labels... amiright?

@revaflowers31155 ай бұрын
This was a cross over hit.The hard rocker and the pop rocker duet also charted on the Country billboards.Both artists are credited with the writing of this song. In the era this song came out Kid was with still touring heavy and partying heavy and I think Sheryl was dating and had been dating Owen Wison and even Eric Clapton for a while so they both pretty much were 'around' a lot. The song sort of typifies that sort of lifestyle but in a small town vibe for me.

In the early 2000's when this came out, I was seriously into the karaoke scene. This song was performed at least 5-6 times per evening. Drunk guys wanted to do the song and then after it started, they forgot they needed a girl to sing, so sometimes they would grab me to come up. I got so sick of the song, I've never listened to it again until tonight.

I know it is not one of his most popular, but First Kiss is my favorite Kid Rock song. It is more along this line sound wise but a very nostalgic look back at being young and in love. Great song and wish kid Rock did more like it. Also love the nod to Tom Petty in this song.

Proud of them at 22 and 24 yrs old to go so far from home.. and they're doing great .. but when we went out there to see them.. We went to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame.. Again.. Rock N Roll Hall of Fame..... Sheryl Crow had a bigger display than Elvis, The Beatles, The Stones, Eagles, Aerosmith, all my Hair Bands.. how does that happen???? Seriously... WTF
