I was an occasional smoker for about 15 years (a pack of light cigs would last me 2 weeks to give you an idea). I did the ecigs and vapes from 2012 until about 2017 when I picked my pen up, stopped and the pointlessness of the whole thing hit me in one shot. @2:25 Old-school Metallica can definitely get you pumped up. There's something about the crunchiness of the rhythm guitar riffs and the beat. The only other band that really gets me fired up like Metallica is Rage Against the Machine... but with RAtM it's both the music and how angry the lyrics and the delivery are, that really get you wanting to just go out and assault someone.

Lovecraftian Metal - another favourite of mine from the Master of Puppets album. I think Hammett's solo there is probably the most EVIL I've ever heard. It's not about speed, or tapping or any of those cliches - it's musically genuinely disturbing. And you loved it. As you should.
