You are correct. We, as a culture, need to stop blaming the victim. This is a powerful man. He took advantage of the fact that the girl had no father or step-dad. No male figure to protect her.

I am a rape victim and/or Survivor? (Sometimes I’m not sure which I am) of multiple rapes, yes multiple between the ages of 17 and 19 when I was in university in Nigeria. I was naive, trusting and not street wise so apparently I must have been easy prey?! Rape by hypnosis???????? it’s not hypnosis it’s shock, it’s denial, it’s an out of body experience. One of the reasons I believed Busola is the parallels I drew from how she described the change in personality of the perpetrator before and after the assault. Only a real victim/ survivor would be familiar with that. As selfish as it sounds I am trying really hard to avoid this news story because it brings back memories I wish I could completely erase. I pray for healing for anyone that’s been violated by anyone and particularly by those we trusted.

Their silence is telling........people call that pastor she mentioned and said pastor BF came with to ask for forgiveness... They are alive!!! We keep arguing blindly....Busola gave enough evidence...confront those she mentioned!!! You might want to visit my channel and hear what I have to say on Busola's issue...

Kemi Olunoyo is not ok. She herself said she suffers PTSD. That affects her mental faculties. She turned on the Dakolo's because they refused her audience for an interview. Kemi decided to take money from COZA & then started bad- mouthing the Dakalos. Kemi's reasoning is faulty- so I wouldn't take her seriously. I think she needs help.

Am relating Busola's case to a similar one here in d United States where a pastor was caught sleeping wt his granddaughter, who was nt even a teenager, now what if d pastor was caught, and d girl grew up, and decided to speak up in other to free herself frm d depression, dilema, and traumatic experience?. American doesn't joke wt "rape" no matter how long, they will bring it up and run tests a lie detector tests on both d victim & d accused. Now, how come Kemi Olunloyo who claimed to av bn here in d States fr so many yrs knows ds, but bcos she herself wants money & fr other personal reasons best known to her, comes out to say ds lady was lying?? Which means tht Kemi herself lies about her PTSD. She claims to suffer frm it, to get fame and money, insanity.

People do not understand what rape is. May we never as women experience it. A friend of mine divorced her husband for this. Better believe it. Here in the USA 🇺🇸 it’s a crime outside of marriage or in. Her husband loves aggressive sex. You can imagine in deep sleep and your legs are forced apart or even while on your period. It’s horrific. She suffered it for so long until she couldn’t take it any more. She called the police on him and there was evidence of her ripped night wear. It’s very traumatic. To think someone you call your husband that is supposed to love you and protect you. It’s really sad 😢. When she was narrating the story, I cried with her. I felt her trauma. She said when she’s on her period she will plead with him to have her clean up first but he will not allow her, he will pin her down on the bed and force himself on her 😢

Kemi is a very controversial self claim investigative journalist. So many women, girls and children get raped in Nigeria without any recourse or justice. You do not understand the psychology and submissive mentality of congregants to Church Leaders especially in Black African Churches and this is very prevalent in Nigeria. When a young gullible or trusting lady who looks up to her Pastor in complete trust is suddenly faced with a rape attack by the same person, often times, the shock is too much for them to react immediately or take any rational decision to protect themselves or fight! Not with the mentality of ingrained submission of Congregant to Pastor! Much as Pastors should be honored and respected as servants of God,, that does not mean that when they now begin to abuse that power and leave the sheep of God bruised, battered and damaged, it should be covered up. Weather people are for or against, God will clean out house. Judgement will start in the house of God. Exposure like we have never seen or heard before will begin to happen especially for those Church Leaders who think they can fool God and abuse his power with impunity. The way they bring dishonor to the name and house of God is the way God will bring them great dishonor along side those who support and try to cover up their atrocity!

I don't get why the "Your Viewer" hostesses are paying attention to Kemi, Why does her opinion on the issue matter, who made are the judge? Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Timi and Busola has spoken their own truth. I doubt that they need kemi to believe them or not. Who sides someone one minute and because they refuse to grant her interview then come on social media to say they are lieing, where are the proves she said she has? She leaks out her own tweet to Timi and then says it's Timi who did. I am so disappointed you all are giving are audiences. To jideonwo, well done and more Grace to you. You are awesome.

This video is an example of how we as Nigerians do not understand empathy, this is a beginning point in the journey of understanding compassion and empathy. You do not have to have being a victim to understand what someone else is telling you. We should not be waiting to pock holes in what we are getting told. And Kemi is not a non Biased player in this. If she was interested in facts, she will dig into not just the victims but the perpetrator and that is how a journalist can determine what the facts are. There is one person who is central to these allegations. If Kemi checks around him and more people are coming out to say he did the same to me, damn Miss Journalist, you have identified a problem. What she is currently doing is called CARRYING WATER for an alleged perpetrator. I have always said, the person who did the first interview with Busola Dakolo has more victims beyond the two published so far and I am happy he has said so today. I knew this because that is what happens when you have actually done your job as a journalist, you find a lot more than one victim! This kemi woman should actually learn what a journalist does and how it is done if she wants to continue claiming to be the best investigative journalist in Nigeria. The actual investigative journalists are quietly doing their job and getting result, she can take a cue from them. By the way, I thought she (Kemi) told Sahara Tv, she was no longer getting into the investigative journalism thing any more in May, why is she still out here 'investigative journalist-ing'? I have asked this question and will continue to ask because she believes her work as an investigative journalist is to pock holes in the experiences of others. I am not pocking a hole in her experience, I am calling her out her on own INCONSISTENCIES which are unforced statements she is making daily! Kemi, why are you still investigating and journalism-ing today after all you said and I quote, "I am no longer doing investigative journalism in Nigeria..." And you said this to a TV reporter on Sahara TV and by yourself!

The funny thing is that it's this men of God who demand this reverence. I have been a witness to this. It's all in the way they speak, the brainwash is everywhere. They intimidate the congregation with the touch not phrase, they tell them to do as they're told and not argue, I've heard these things with my two ears, so if we are looking for where the reverence comes from the preachers are the ones who start the wheel of hypnotism. So the less churches blaring their trumpets in Nigeria the better. How do you think hypnotism works? Have you seen how the North Korean president handles its citizens?

A perspective from a Lawyer, Theologian and Psychotherapist. UK 1. Rape is a serious crime and therefore Fairness, proportionality and Justice must be respected for both the alleged victim and alleged criminal. 2. In Jurisprudence or theory of law, everyone is presumed Innocent until proven otherwise. So we should not be hasty in concluding in public opinion that he is guilty, and therefore he should be spoken against. If the Rule of law is "Guilty until proven otherwise", then the onus or burden of proof would have to be on the alleged criminal. But that will be almost impossible to do if not impossible to do. That also means that anyone can accuse anybody of abusing or assaulting them because the onus is not on them. What a chaotic world that will be! 3. There is another issue Implied as well, likelihood of having an affair with a minor if not rape. What was the law in terms of Limitation Period 20 years ago with respect to a minor. 3. Question of proportionality. 20 years ago, the lady was about 17 years and the pastor was about 23 years old (ie if he is now 43 years old). We may think the pastor was as he is now, powerful, 43 years old, rich etc, that exaggerates the situation. 4. The Rule of law must be kissed by everyone. Fairness for both parties. 5. Both may need spiritual as well as emotional help. 6. To families and friends. Families do not reject their own, irrespective of alleged wrongs or crimes committed. Better say nothing publicly. But if you do as a friend or family (spiritual), your words should be as example here: We do not know whether the allegations did actually occur or not, but whatever it is, you are our brother, friend etc and therefore forever be our brother, friend etc. We will be with you throughout this journey spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially etc. We also pray for the apparent victims for Fairness, justice and God's grace and Love. Please preachers, stop using other preachers for what you can get from them, but distance yourselves from them in times of their troubles. That is not what friends and brethren do. We are one another's keeper. In the military, casualties of war are not ignored or rejected. 8. Finally, Objective Truth, Fairness, Justice, Love and Proportionality must manifest in such situations. Shalom

The reason why a victim shouldn’t tell you the timeline of their trauma is because YOU are not the judge. Due diligence is not for an interviewer to start asking, did they pushed you down? Did they force themselves in. Rape is rape it doesn’t have to be forced.

I got interested to share this on my channel when before now have had a case of rape of a minor that i followed up but then didn't have a KZbin channel to showcase this; she was molested by her boss husband to the extent of removing pregnancy. The case went down after a while. Now alot of Nigerians are against the victim who am sure is trying to survive from this after many years that the story is not true. Rape is a crime and a sin from God whether forcefully or not. Rape is a serious crime that shouldn't be overlooked to avoid perpetrators from indulging in this. Am following up on this to see to the end of this... #hearttohearttv

This is so unfortunate that this said pastor is going through all this shit that I don’t even know if this presenter is part of this arrangement because the way he is going about this is so wrong, calling for discussions upon discussions every time trying to speak in a way people will take his part or stand in this issue without even involving a man or woman that open the other side of opposite so that this can be balanced. I have really seen so many which has made me very open minded whenever I see nor hear something like this, understand me, I am not saying that this could not have happen nor he is capable or not and at the same time I will not support rape at all but this stands if I must tell you Mr. presenter; 1. No one is saying that the story is a lie but be mindful that this is an allegation that something else could have prompted. 2. All evidences pointing at this has been repetition of same story and not seen evidence and it is said by a group of women. 3. Social media business or KZbin business is on the trend in Nigeria as we speak so don’t even be surprised that all this may have contributed in this also making it a business. 4. Don’t be disappointed if you continue to hear this kind of stories on KZbin as people are already preparing anything possible that can make them more popular or that will enable them make money which KZbin pays to any now without truly confirming if they are for real or not. 5. Mr presenter I would not want to say if this is lies may it come to you too because you are out to destroy without confirming what really happened. 6. Can I say the pastor is crazy, how can a reasonable man pull a woman out of a comfort zone and rape on top on bonnet of car for Christ sake instead of inside the comfort zone and how can a man open door and push whoever that open the door down and rape in a her father's house. Mr. presenter there are two side in every story remember. I will leave this here for you guys to decide!
