I think the reason Kayle didn’t get a legendary skin is because her voice lines and personality already fit within the Eclipse universe, since they are both beings who want to being a God. Sivir probably got it because her Shurimin treasure hunter personality is way too out of place compared to the rest of the characters.

@@irritableava6502 True, but the Monster Tamers line is basically a Pokemon derivative. Same fashion sense, and the animal companions are very anime-esque. Not quite the same vibe even thought the concepts are similar on paper. I think the biggest draw to the animal spirit concepts would actually be the fashion, so I hope they bring that style of street wear into the game eventually.

I have so many problems with Eclipse Senna. Soooo many. The visual effects are fantastic but that's about it. They never do ANYTHING with her hair (heaven forbid she have ANYTHING but thick braids in ANY of her skins), she has no medieval knight armour, as you said she has a GUN, she has a facial visor for literally no reason whatsoever, she DID NOT need another prestige (especially one that looks not only like... that, but also looks like it's from a totally different universe), and she does not fit in even a little bit. Senna is such an awesome champion, and they nailed her and her aesthetics with True Damage and ESPECIALLY High Noon. Then they come out with Project and *this*? If they wanted a popular champion to round out the skinline, pick LITERALLY ANYONE who could feasibly wear armour. Most of the toplane roster. Half of the jungle roster. Half the support roster. Zed, Kayn, Gragas, Yone, Nautilus, and so many more would've fit better. Not to mention that Aatrox, big sword lunar man, is the counterpart to Kayle, big sword solar lady, and Senna, small thin with a gun, is supposed to be the counterpart to Sejuani, build-like-a-brick-sh!thouse-riding-an-owl-bear. It makes the Lunar Eclipse line, which is now already outnumbered by the solar skins, even more lacklustre in comparison.

I think the yasuo skin was gonna be a tie in with the RK game, like buy game get skin for free but thanks to all the delays they just had it sitting around and needed to release it (the riot forge tt showed a pic of this skin more than a year ago before the game got delayed)

I main Kayle, I wanted Kayle to get the legendary for many reasons. 1: It would have been fitting since she is such a prominent character in this universe being the one who ate the Sun and founded the Eclipse Knights and ordered them to slay the Old Gods. 2: They could have brought back Morgana's VA to give Sun-Eater Kayle and Coven Morgana some juicy interactions. They could give us some closure or Kayle's side of the story on what really happened between her and the Sun god and why the Coven call her a betrayer. 3: They could put further emphasis on her eldritch/godly persona and they could make her feel more divine. She could have 5 forms. One for each Ascension and then one temporary form for after she uses her ult. Maybe she goes full Eldritch when in her ult. Also a new animation rig would be amazing on this skin. I'd still like them to keep the resting at bonfire emote though, 'cause Sun-Eater Kayle gives me a bunch of Soul of Cinder vibes. 4: Also, the Eclipse universe is by far my favourite sub-universe in League of Legends. I fell in love with it the moment Leona's skins came out. Kayle is just too fitting. Also, I just really wanna hear Lisa Lindsley talk in the old-timey dialect. A few more side thoughts: Because they didn't give Kayle the legendary, could they at least make her Level 16 form have the fiery visuals like Solar Eclipse Leona after she uses her ult or Sivir while she's in her ult. Also, Diana should have gotten the Eclipse skin instead of Senna. It would have been more fitting since there are all the interactions from the other legendary skins that talk about Diana and this complicated and mysterious relationship she has with Leona in the universe. Maybe she was Eclipse Knight turned Coven? I think she could have been Solar Eclipse, just to break the mold. And then they could have given Sivir a Lunar Eclipse skin instead.

These skins are all mid and best and just lazy or cash grabby at worst. Senna did not need to be in the skin line at all. She got shoved in because she’s a “popular” character and then gets ANOTHER prestige?! I personally feel it should’ve gone this way: - Legendary Sun eater Kayle (she is a big deal in the eclipse universe and could have some amazing voice lines with coven Morgana) - Prestige solar eclipse Sivir but no legendary (this way an under appreciated champ would get some love, but I don’t think she’s as essential to the eclipse lore as kayle is) - Replace Senna entirely (so many other champs would fit the universe better)

Gangplank​ is 975 quality in 1350 skin and every people get exited just because it's a lore skin. As person who wait like 4 years for his new skin I don't​ hate it though​ but just a little bit of disappointed.
