Und dies ist ansteckend und sympathisch ! Während Deutsche in und/oder Schwarz-Rot-Gold, meist durch dummes angetrunkenes Ballermann-Niveau auffallen. 4% of Scotland went to support and every major city here in Scotland put on massive fanzones for every Scotland game , it’s truly been amazing seeing how well us Scot’s and the beautiful Germans have embraced each other and had such an amazing time , I know anytime I bump into a German tourist here they will be welcomed and embraced the same way they did us 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇩🇪♥️

I've been to Munich a few days after the opening game. I went to a pub to watch another game and I was surrounded by Scottish fans. One of them asked me if I'm German and I just said "yes" - then all the guys at the table said "well, we lost because our team couldn't score a single goal. The one we had was a special gift from you guys so we don't loose too heavy" and then the party started. I didn''t even notice the time flying and after 4 hours I had to leave. I moved to Salzburg, Austria 2 years ago and the train ride there is 2 hours...

Its probably due to that very fact that the Scots are a distinctly European people, the Scots have never forgotten their roots and sense of identity of who they are as a group..with their culture, heritage and traditions. It was have been refreshing for the Germans to see this. The Scots loved being in Germany and appreciated Germany the country and the German people..the Scots see the Germans as fellow European people, the Scots actually appreciated Germany, with the wonderful architecture and rich history Germany has too.
