the video is IMHO a layout of Tatiana's song writing process. If you consider the grains of sand are words, and the red box is her notes of stuff she has wrote down to remember, either authored by her or someone else which she found meaning or connection to. The art work she is working on is a song. The band hounds her for her lyrics and is expressed in the video as them chasing after her. Notice she doesn't even have something started when she gets home after running from them, something she has noted she does, she procrastinates til the last minute and then uses the pressure and stress to focus her on the words to a song. The band playing while she shoots them, is just like the process they use...they come up with the instrumental aspect to a song in rough form and then hand that off to her to develop the lyrics over the top, she shoots back recordings of her lyrics and final adjustments to the song are made. Her scraping up the sand and throwing it at them in the end, making them go away...is a visualization of her feelings about the end of the process, they take her art and she gets peace. The lyrics are her battling with her introverted self to be able to be an extrovert on stage or so she has said in more words than my shortened paraphrased explanation. I believe it will be one of their more popular songs for just how well it connects with the masses, even extraverts can get the elements of the story as being just the opposite of their own reality. An Introvert needing isolation to recharge while an extravert needs interaction and people to recharge, just as an example. I love the the way they present the heavier aspects in this song and in Vortex...the riffs and rhythms used to bring that about works on a primal connection and I would love for them to keep using those connections in future songs.

I've listened to this album more than 30 times at this point, and I love it. It's heavier (in my opinion) than their other albums, and its dark(can't explain it differently, sorry). It's by far my favourite albums by them. It's very cohesive, every track is a little bit different but they all sound like they have been written together and not just a collection of songs that didn't fit into other projects. Hope this makes sense and you really should dive into it, if not on reactions but in your own time because it really is one of the best (for me) albums released this year. All the instrumentals are amazing, with deep and rich baselines and drum grooves and guitar riffs that you can really loose yourself in. Not even mentioning Tati's vocals.

@@user-qr6td3ub2q might I suggest you listen to the interview with Tatiana by the Charismatic Voice in regards to this song, and in regards to Tatiana herself...she specifically says she is an introvert, and only plays an extravert on stage. She says this song is her introverted self expressing the challenges of living in this world. I am paraphrasing but if you listen, you will hear her remark to as much.

In the video, there's a direct correlation to the pressure she felt for procrastinating lyric writing for the album to the last second and then rushed to produce. Her bandmates pursue her, pressure her. The bullets (sharp words) at them do nothing, but then she sees the wolves on the wall, realizes her defensive anger and her over-reaction in a situation she created, and throws "her art" (metaphor for the lyrics they want) at the band and they go away. The wolf story (below) is critical to understanding her internal conflicts as displayed by the wolf art. @@kirsh2036 yeah sure what would you like, heavy and in your face with screams? Then go with something like 'sit stay rollover' or 'ape', 'pit of consciousness' or 'who is gonna be the one'. And if you want something more melodic try songs like 'pisces' 'retrospection' or 'bad Waters' which is entirely clean vocals, no screaming. Honestly I could give you 20 more songs, but one of my personal favourites right now is As I boil ice from their newest album. Hope this helped at least a little bit 🤘

Oh and I really should mention this. Don't give up if you don't like some of their songs on the first listen. They are very complex, especially on this new album and I didn't like it until like the 3rd or 4th time listening, and now I absolutely love it and listened to it so many times I lost count 😂 have fun with it 🤘

It's admirable when one person can perform clean vocals and that deep & heavy scream parts. Thanks for the reaction! I enjoyed as always. I'm stuck in hardcore/metalcore in last months and one more suggestion from this - Invent Animate 'The Sun Sleeps, As If It Never Was'. That's something new - two songs into one music video. Lyrics and music are great.

Why meh album? There is hardly one or two weaker songs but overall, what a beautiful piece of Jinjer music.
