I’d be curious to hear your thoughts about the differences between how an audience might respect or not respecting artist versus actual artists respecting or not respecting those same artists. Because it seems like nowadays, the average music listener doesn’t care if an artist is lying about being a gangster, or even having ghost riders. So long as they enjoy the music, they don’t care what lies or deceit are going on behind the scenes. At least from what I’m seeing.

Even if Drake didn’t have ghostwriters, i still couldn’t see him on a list of the “top lyricists today” . He makes good music, but to say that his lyrics are above average is just stupid. I’m not sure if this is true or not but based on the thumbnail I think it might be. But did The Weeknd write for Drake ? I remember hearing that some of the songs on Drake’s album Take Care, were actually songs that were gonna be on Weeknd’s House of Ballons EP (ex. Crew Love), is there any other instances ?? I’m surprised he didn’t mention any in the video considering the thumbnail. I also heard the Drake wanted to sign The Weeknd to OVO but Abel declined. I’m sure he didn’t wanna just be locked in the basement writing for Drake like PND and Quentin 😭
