Yes, HRD created a structure around frame for the bumper and then they welded to the bottom of the frame. That’s the strongest section because the thin metal overlaps.

@@KeepItDirtyOffRoad sorry I meant 37s and maybe jus daily it would u jus leave stock offroading is kinda expensive for me rite now lol but brotha I like the raptor best truck ever 🤟
@KeepItDirtyOffRoad3 жыл бұрын
So with a Gen2 there is a path to offroad with 37s that involved a bunch of trimming. With the Gen1, there is no way to run 37s with stock fenders and not damage the stock fenders if you take it offroad and do a jump or something that overloads the suspension. If you plan to just daily it, there is plenty of advice on the forums on how to do it. Just know that even if they say it will clear offroad, it won’t. I’ve seen too many guys follow that advice on the forums and first wash out they hit they cracked the fenders.

Still stock on the rear bedsides. Upgrading the bed sides would require upgrading the rear axle so she don’t look all funky. And I’m not using spacers, ever!! @KeepItDirtyOffRoad3 жыл бұрын
But the locations matters. On the weakest point of the roof is not a good option. Specially when said section is already starting to get worn out from all the movement from the antenna. I was a few trips away from the roof cracking. If the antenna was installed about 6in farther back in a much stronger section of the roof would have been better. But now that whole area is weak and not good. Also, the antenna being used 1/2 wave dont benefit much from the grounding plane of the roof anyway. So a different antenna mounted in a stronger section would be better. But not this antenna and definitely not where the last owner had it.
