An amazing woman. What John and Yoko did to her is sad and horrible. Then Yoko screws Julian out of his part of his father's estate. Julian has had to fight Yoko to get anything. Then she sold off private letter's between father and son. Julian has spent what money he has fought Yoko for to buy back his private letter's between him and John that Yoko auctioned off. I hope Yoko rots in hell!

You never met any of these people, your comment is ridiculous! John Lennon only married Cynthia because he got her pregnant. He rapidly outgrew her, they were never going to go the distance. Watching this interview I'm not surprised, she'd very dull indeed! They married too young - relationships run their course, that's life. Why do you seek to blame anyone? Thank God he found real love with Yoko, they were genuinely compatible and happy. John Lennon's life was so tragically short, if you have any respect for that great man you'll be happy for him that he was personally fulfilled when he was murdered at just 40.

I really think Cynthia was his true love ... he did not realize that due to the drugs and his own weaknesses. Yoko exaggerated his extremes while Cynthia balanced them. I have great admiration for Cynthia's self-control in tricky and provocative interviews such as this. Stapleton wasted a rare opportunity for a fascinating interview with one of John Lennon's most intimate relations by choosing to act as provocateur. Julie Witt it wasn't "his due" to be murdered by a piece of lowlife shit, and certainly not because the heady fame had caused him to stray from the simple married life. He was young, he was in a world suddenly filled with exciting things. He wasn't a monk or saint. Cynthia might have had some influence on John to curtail the drugs and sycophants, which in turn could have been better for the group too. enkibumbu...Me too! At the time Yoko and John got together he wanted her to be a part of the Beatles, as ridiculous as that sounds. Th band members were not having any parts of it and that's when John split from the Beatles. I hardly ever hear anyone mention John and Yoko's famous stunt..."the love in" where they protested the war by laying in bed nude together correction..for two weeks.in Amsterdam. It was revolting then and the thought is still revolting! That's how much I like Yoko....UGH! Ugly big mouth who broke up the Beatles!

@JessikaEmerald I remember the hoopla from back in the day. I was a teenager and everyone LOVED the Beatles. We always knew what was going on with them. This would have been in print but I can't recall where I read it. Anyhow...Yes, he wanted her squealing and squawking along with the music. She used moraccos and tambourine when her and John played together. That didn't last too long before they became mostly full-time activists..

While surfing the internet aimlessly, I came upon some videos regarding Yoko Ono - and yes, she’s a moron. Some will say she is the true reason that The Beatles broke up, and I wouldn’t doubt it. Yes, there are some other reasons like George Harrison’s emergence as a songwriter and their managers death, but I would have left the band too if I had to deal with that idiot every day. I hate to say anything negative about John Lennon, but this guy was Yoko Ono’s bitch. He literally brought her everywhere - even the recording studio. This violated a previous agreement between the members not to let wives or girlfriends into the studio. However, Lennon made it clear that she would be allotted artistic input into the band’s recordings. Ono would comment or make suggestions in the recording studio, which only pissed off the rest of the band! There were times when Lennon even brought her on stage. One example was when Lennon played live with Chuck Berry performing his song Memphis. She had to play her irrelevant drum in the background and even had the balls to pick up a microphone while John Lennon and Chuck Berry were singing. The noises that came out her mouth were horrifying, and I will get back to that at the end of this rant.

I read her book for the first 33 pages i can't put it down. Thank you for sharing your wonderful stories. Rest in peace. (Somehow most of us fans can't help to think that John's life went down hill since he met yoko) These two share similarity situations and stories (weirdly similar) for Chrisann Brennan Jobs (also an artist with a kid who was abandon by the father) and Steve Jobs reading from Chrisann's book "The bite in the apple"

Yes, sending letters and flowers that Cyn had to witness and she will always asked John who was that lady he keep saying some crazy woman who needs something from him (forgot exactly what he said to Cyn) and he kind of admitted that Yoko was stalking him, and the day Yoko and John met she lied that she never knew The Beatles and never knew who John Lennon was. That was during Cyn and John having problems with their marriage and he was on drugs as well. He had to send Cyn to Greece to have a vacation then brought Yoko to their house and made love and the worst part was John knew that day Cyn is coming home but he didn't care, Cyn came home saw them together in the kitchen, Yoko wearing Cyn bathrobe and all John said was "Oh, Hi." Cyn had to pretend like nothing happened because she doesn't want her son Julian to find what was going on between them, John didn't even bother to talk to her after the incident, Cyn had to do the confrontation, when they did, Cyn ask what was that about, he just said to Cyn "it is you that I love, it's always been you." and then they made love that night like nothing happened and Cyn forgave him. :( Cynthia loved John unconditionally she had seen John changed to a total different person and until John's death she admitted she never stop loving John. Sad Story.
