This was my first car in the early 90's. 1976 Toyota Celica GT 2 door. Silver, manual trans, moon mags, chrome numbers, black and simulated wood interior.. Put a new clutch and stereo in it. Wish I still had it !

We had a '73 GT when I was a kid...spent too much time cramped in those back seats but eventually learned to drive in it. Best car ever ... right up there with our '70 240Z and my 2013 FRS.
@fleetsinc.86718 жыл бұрын
FRS, haven't driven that or the S2K, one day. This car though is very raw, and nostalgic. I'm not a writer, so it's hard for me to put into words the driving experience, and how metallically this vehicle telegraphs. Thanks for your input.

Thanks, man! This reminds me so much of my 1st car. It was the year after this one, a 1977 Celica GT coupe, but I painted it this exact color, even the spoiler I added was the same. Mine had wider tires and chrome racing wheels, but those probably only slowed it down due to weight. ;) Great blast from the past!

@celica freak - don't tell me you haven't driven it. Dude I have had 4 Celicas and Supras since the 70's and loved them all. The '73 was a rally car and my FRS is the closest thing anyone has made since. Better than all the 80's Celicas and Supras I drove without a doubt. In 20 years the 86's will be the car kids talk about just like we do the Celica and the Hachi Roku.
