Just watching the way he moves, his expressions and the way the muscles in his face behave, it's like nobody else I've ever seen before or since. He's wonderful!

I realize it's pretty off topic but does anybody know a good website to watch newly released movies online?

How rare it is to see a celebrity, so generous, so engaged and so truly interested in the interview and of course, being Rik...in himself. Real funny bones. RIP Rik. Gone but never forgotten.

He was like that when I met him. I met him at a signing event at a bookshop in Cornwall. He was warm and friendly and so generous with his time that his allotted time for signing ran way over according to the organisers I was talking to but apparently he refused to move until he’d seen everyone who had queued to see him. He didn’t rush anyone along, more than happy to stop and chat with everyone, clown around for the kids, pose for silly and rude photos (of course!), I got a lovely big hug off him and a photo of us, arms around round each other’s shoulders, making rude gestures at the camera 🤣 this meant everything to me as his shows had been pretty much the only thing that kept me going through severe illness as a teen and I’m so happy I got the chance to meet him as a healthy adult and tell him that. He passed a year later and I know how incredibly lucky I am to have had that opportunity.

Wonderful video! I was born in London in 1974 and grew up watching Rik and co, which makes me extraordinarily lucky. What a man, there's not a whole lot of people that ooze intelligence and knowledge about life and it's contents yet also be equally as wealthy and in touch with their inner self..in a truly genuine way, but Rik sure is. I'm sure that he is one of god's star children, a special son..a soul like Rik is surely perpetual, I know my love, respect and appreciation for him is. Thankyou for sharing this and long live Mr Rik Mayall. N.A. 💫

Watching Rik really warms my heart. Such a funny guy playing such outrageous crazy characters that makes me laugh so much. I love him. So sad we lost him when we did but his comedy lives on. Xx ❤️

It’s also nice to see him doing an interview as his normal self as well, this won’t have been long after his accident as GHP was the first project he worked on after the quad bike incident. The guy was a walking miracle after that.

I love his energy. He's one of those people who you'd fall for even if he wasn't a famous actor. If he was just a drama teacher from a small town, just a neighbor down the street, he'd be just as dynamic and gorgeous. Also, I love his observation on John Hurt being his own man in every film he's in. He's one of my favorites to watch as well for that particular reason.

12:21 Kevin Turvey!! One of Rik's greatest characters. But TBF they were all excellent & hilarious...as Rik was too. Great clip, thanks for uploading :-)

Imagine a guy like Rik in a sitcom like Cheers , or Friends. He would have fitted right in and probably even improved on the show.

An actor degree? 😆 Must be the language barrier. Tough crowd, the interviewer is not even reacting to Rik's immense honesty and humour.

This is such a great, particular interview, something to hold on to now that Rik's no longer with us. The interviewer got so much out of him. You see the laughter, the charm, that great big smile, those expressions, but also the thoughtfulness and sweetness. He was a special guy. Thank you for sharing.

Loved Rik top man RIP the peaples poet gone but not forgotten Richard Rich in Bottom.Alan Bastard made me laugh hard.English genuis a maverick funny dude. You made us laugh with humour crude. You and Aid you paved the way for what's acceptable in comedy today.I saw you at the Kings in Glasgow.Smoke alarm went of caused a fiasco. My buddies and me we stood outside and toaked. You waited and made us the blunt of your jokes.Sorry that I heckled you that night Rik.And acting like a spoiled little dick. You were a hero you were a inspiration.Best comedian of your generation.I hope up there I am forgiven now you have gone and reached heaven making peaple cry with laughter was your choosen path to young to soon but God must have needed a laugh up there with Chapman.
