These two queens need to get their Shit together. Flamingo Road was a hit for Crawford & she got good reviews for it. Yes, she was too old to play a carnival dancer bit her acting was spot on.

"Very late period Joan Crawford"??? EXCUSE ME? This movie came out in 1949. Joan Crawford starred in movies until 1970. (And I don't care if it's "Trog". It's still a movie.)

For Joan, age 44 in 1949, perhaps a bit late to play a "hoochie" dancer; but that makes her character in the film more "hoochie."
