Thank you!! Tony Kakko was the man with the red hair. At the end, the woman singing was Elize Ryd. She is from the band Amaranthe. She is actually Swedish, but I believe she has some Finnish blood in her family. She doesn't speak Finnish, at least she is not native, but she still sings sometimes in Finnish and she does quite well🥰 But that's probably reason why she was only singing at the end.

Tony Kakko is the leader of Sonata Artica. He has worked with Nightwish as well, including live performances. I could have sworn you saw a Nightwish video with him, but I am not finding one 🤔. We do have some happier Christmas carols in Finland too but the most loved ones are definately more melancholic, this is one of them. They usually have very meaningful lyrics and many times the lyrics are about the people we have lost, people who are in distress or longing to come home for Christmas. Finnish culture has some somberness when it comes to celebrating. For example on our independence day (6th of December) we celebrate by remembering the veterans who lost their lives for us to be free and on Christmas we take candles to the graveyards to remember the lost loved ones. Melancholic music is popular in Finland also in other genres than Christmas carols, maybe that's where the love for metal music comes from.
