You can use a heat gun along the edges to permanently bend the wrap and cover the sides. If you don't use the heat gun, the bent portion of the wrap will start peeling off the edges. There are several tutorials on KZbin on how to apply it on a vehicle.

Very cool that they also offer full size. My brother recently got a new house and huge entertainment area in the basement, wanted and arcade cab but the only stuff he could find at the time was way too expensive. This might be much more affordable!

Use a bottle of soapy spray to install the vinyl like the pros do. A little spray on the panel first and you can manoeuvre the vinyl. Flatten out any air pockets and the water will evaporate leaving the vinyl stuck in place. 👍

I purchased and assembled the arcade in your video from the Minnesota location. Before retirement I built furniture with this stud and cam lock system as a side job. You are better off to put a high quality wood glue in every joint. I also put a light behind the upper display. My system did not include games and I am currently researching games for my grandchildren to play with me. The options you show were not available last year. Thank you for the tips.

Like what was mentioned earlier. I owned a sign shop for years and did alot of vinyl lettering and graphics. Clean surface thoroughly and use either full strength Windex or soapy water and soak the area your applying decal, position and using a soft plastic or rubber squeegee starting in the middle work out to the ends to get out air bubbles. Any bubbles left pierce with pin.

Ironically, I was JUST a Microcenter yesterday. That place is a fricking computer candyland. It's like Newegg, but in meatspace. It was all I could do to stop myself from spontaneously SQUEEEing after seeing walls of motherboards, processors, hard drives, SSDs, cases, monitors, etc. I consider myself fortunate that my "local" Microcenter is only an hour away.

Great video! I've been looking at building a bartop arcade for a while, and being able to also play n64 games with a controller would be a huge plus. A couple notes for a second video: 1) Please install a Pi 4 (overclocked, see 2) into this 2) Add a couple fans to the rear for cooling 3) Run through a couple of options for monitors - maybe maximum dimensions for best fit? 4) Add a couple of USB ports to the front for controllers

I don't like those visible screws for the joystick, it's just as easy to fit them from the back and conceal them although with this being pre-drilled you don't get that choice, my favourite Atari games are vertical so this is counterproductive for me, I built my own bartop a few years ago but the only artwork on it is on the control panel and marquee, I like that side art that comes with this kit

@@Nickbaldeagle02 You have personally sent something to Canada from Micro center? They dont have any options from them. If you want to do like a shipping redirect( they mail to US address then redirect it to Canada)- which is way more expensive than it is worth. In addition, they only offer only pick up for this model. Not sure about the rest

There is an abundance of i3/i5/i7 used mini pc's out there for less than 60 bucks; I'm surprised, no one has thought about repurposing those to design something similar to these bartops with say Batocera. I would gladly pay 400 to 600 for something that has more the ample power for emulation.

Can’t beat the price for what you get. Way better than the GRS overpriced kits and their customer service.

Now, unplug the Raspberry Pi, and plug in a DE10-nano with the MiSTer FPGA software. Will it work very well? I'm looking to get an arcade cabinet for my MiSTer FPGA and I'm still weighing the pluses and minuses of DIY, DIY kit, or some complete system that I modify to do a MiSTer FPGA transplant on. Eta Prime, do you still have a MiSTer FPGA? So much stuff has come out in the last year and the CPS2 is just a few weeks away... that it is really time to get a MiSTer FPGA cabinet going. MiSTerAddons has the MiSTerCade right around the corner too. What do you recommend?

This is a great quick review but I got the kit with the with the trackball and to sticks. The RetroPi on this one for me was locked. I wasn't able to add games or cores. I would love to see a how to on this particular Atari Pi.
