I can agree, I played all parts of the Patapons, but Ratatan didn’t impress me at all, but the music doesn’t feel right at all (according to the sensations, it doesn’t even reach the level of patapon 2, I’m generally silent about part 3) Honestly, I really tried to somehow perceive this trailer and watched it about 3 times to look at it from different angles, but the feeling is this: the game is like for children... (the feeling of the music)

I once briefly watched a kid playing Patapon and the memory has been dormant in my head for so many years. Something about those little eye fellows was so memorable. Recently, I finally found out what the game was called and it has been wild discovering the series as a whole, living through its triumphs and disappointments within the span of a few hours. I'm glad to have rediscovered Patapon now that its spiritual successor is on the horizon. My hopes are high for the future!

I think that the gameplay shown for multiple heroes are for multiplayer based on the commands shown on top of each heroes. Honestly happy that you could actually bring your own troops on multiplayer instead of just the heroes.

Been a Patapon fan since 3 came out and have played the trilogy. I always view the series my number one(second is MonHun) to have a special place to my heart. Just hearing the news of a Patapon successor made me really hopeful that the concept and Idea of the series could be expanded upon. Very hopeful with Kotani and Adachi picking up the role again to make the previously left out ideas they have into a reality! Life's been rough on me recently but I really couldn't express how happy I am hearing this news past few days ago. Now checking it out made me smile and have something to look forward happily in the future!

Im so happy that the folks who helped make patapon havent given up on this genre. Sometimes you get those games that come along and are just so unique that you cant really find anything like it. Patapon was one of those games. If this trailer is any indication, it looks like this is really going to bring the genre into the modern day with beautiful animation, crisp music, and bigger gameplay variety. So, so excited for this!

I am pretty happy about the original developers of Patapon coming back to make a spiritual successor. However, I'm not really happy about the music. Maybe they'll have better music on other levels. But the tribal/indigenous vibe of the Patapon music was the reason I got attached to it. Specially with the combination of genres like EDM or even Metal. The music seems more childish, and I don't mean that it is bad because they took a more childish approach to the music. Patapon itself has come sort of child-like expression on their characters and voices. Yet the music was more catchy and interesting because of the more serious tone. Regardless, I am so happy they brought back Patapon but in a different "coat of paint." It's one of my favorite childhood games and it still hangs on to my heart to this day at the age of 25.

Yes, Patapon, while songs were most likely singed by children, they had that warchant feeling, like soldiers yelling in response to their officer orders, here we have cutesy characters fighting and dying while singing kindergarden songs.

Damn that's interesting, it looks like there's a main character that can just move around freely (I assume within range of the little scrunkly bois), and that kinda acts like the commander/Hatapon stand in. I also love that they're using the airship/zeppelin concept that was part of the original idea in Patapon 1. I can't wait for this game to come out.
