I knew the S3 would win, a proper stage 2 should get you high 11's in the 1/4, 0-60 3.7-4.0 range, a decent bit faster than this Maro 1LE. Nice seeing the S3 making quick work of a "muscle car",. Do you plan on going full send and bolting on a hybrid turbo, stage 3? I know a couple guys running EQT stage 3, vortex XL turbo putting the hurt on MANY cars that were "supposed to win" . The stage 3 with hybrid turbo gets you into the high 10s- low 11s in the quarter. The one dude has been running stage 3 tuned carefully and has since put 30 K miles on it without issues. So impressive what the beefed up S3 2.0 engine is capable of, since the S3 2.0 has stronger internals(rods and pistons) than the A3 2.0 , the S3 also has piston cooling jets, lower compression ratio, better mounts, upgraded cylinder head made from aluminum alloy, new exhuast valves and high pressure injection valves....alot of people don't know this.

Yeah it was inevitable honestly, but eventually I do plan I putting the eqt hybrid on! I would love the power that those things can put down! That’s good to hear tho that they can run for a while and still be going strong, that was one of my worries since it’s my daily rn. And honestly I didn’t know some of that info you just said so thank you for that!

@@RatchetWrenches Hell yeah! Nicely executed. So glad you are going for the hybrid turbo, it is taking this platform to another level for sure. EQT in particular stage 3's are running particularly strong- I think they have the record of the IHI based turbo at 10.4 1/4 mile. I will be going with EQT myself- my local Indie dealer had nothing to back their claim up with , saying that EQT stage2 was "throwing codes"- obviously shilling for APR lol. Wrong. Stage 1 0-60 is under 4 seconds with a good driver. Stage 2 with a good driver should easily spank any poor man sports car. Camaro, Charger, Challenger, Mustang.

@@xxsekoxx if you would have paid attention and read my comment you would have seen that I did say the average stage one is sub 4 sec- 3.7-4.0 is what I said 0-60, which is absolutely right with the DSG. Average stage 2 is mid 3's. A proper stage 2 is pulls on a challenger scat pack.

Yeah rolling races are cool but imo races are usually from a start line to a finishing point. That’s where the S3 shines, in a real race ya know? Def good races though.

That's true to an extent yeah the S3 would obviously destroy the Camaro from a dig with launch control and AWD. Thanks though!!

@@kenchap_ same here Bro, I was about to get a B9 S4 but I was very underwhelmed by the performance, it was about as fast as the S3 but the S3 was WAY more fun to drive because of its compact size and driving dynamics. The 7 speed dual clutch in my S3 is way better than the ZF slush box in the B9 S4 as well IMHO. I just love the feeling of being confident to throw your car around , the "tossable" chasis the S3 has - so glad I went with the S3

@@volkssturm9694 Yeah bro fr, i got the 6 speed and it’s just a blast. Nimble powerful car is always fun. I test drove a B8.5 S4 and it was no faster than my tuned A4. Then i test drove the S3 and was blown away 🔥

I owe 17 S3 stage 2 and i love this beauty, 420HP to the crank and 0-60mph in 3.7sec 60mph-120mph in 9.3sec

BABABHAHAHAHAHAHAH That S3 is SOO not stage 2 LOL, more like a remap with an intake and res delete, if it was stage 2, it would of MOPPED that camaro any day of the week

Only reason why I say this is, because 100-200 of a Camaro 1LE is 13.8 which falls right on what the S3 8V does stock, now with stage 2, people get 100-200 between 8.7 and 10.5 being the highest soooo something aint right here

Well it is in fact "Stage 2" from EQT. Not sure what to tell you besides it was a hot day and these S3's are prone to heat soak quickly and that little IS38 turbo can only put out so much. Now it's got an EQT Vortex XL turbo and would absolutely destroy the camaro

Quick question? Does your tune have Rolling brake launch? On my IE tune I can hold brake and gas at 40mph while boost builds. Try it.
