Stage 2 Audi S3 Drag Racing 1/4 Mile Times!

We finally got around to taking our EQT Stage 2 Audi s3 to the track. This was our first time running this car and were super excited to get the numbers we got down the 1/4 mile. We do know that we can go faster and will have to make some tweaks to achieve a faster time slip. Sit back and enjoy, and please give us a thumbs up and feel free to comment any tips for us! Unfortunately we were having some issues with the Haldex and it was holding us from getting better traction resulting in better times.

Yeah I agree I could use some weight reduction for sure! Unfortunately I’ll never know now that I’m installing the vortex XL next weekend so it should be well into the 10s

More drag strip vids… Also I’d try 2 things one is putting the stock wheels back on would probably help with 1/4 time , Also Using a Sticker compound tire would help too , Suprised your not running EQT’s E30 tunes

We’re gonna try to def film more, especially now that the Xl will be installed. And yeah I was thinking either lighter wheels or the stock ones with a slick setup. And I was thinking e30 but we don’t really have e85 by us and it’s my daily so I want to be on the lower side of power for now haha

cant wait to get my 2v back to the strip after i get all the maintenance stuff done, just got the 4.56 rear gears installed, hoping for a low 12 my self. PB so far is a 12.8 @105

@@RatchetWrenches yup! Unopened engine, no power adder (yet) will go for nitrous when I do cams, for now I just want low 12s without opening the engine and seeing what this little 4.6 can do

Looking forward to my S1 (Uk) running similar power on a Powermax 1 with intake/I/C & tune. Should go fairly well with ~160kgs less weight than the S3

Nice video, I am also running a stage 2 S3, had a recent trackday and my best time was 12.01, in the UK with 99 ron fuel, also into a headwind. i am now deliberating flex fuel or bigger turbo? also wondering have you considered forged pistons & rods? How far do you think you can take the power before that becomes a necessity

You have a while to consider that after big turbo or a comparable stage3/4 turbo level

Lol. My stage 1 + downpipe and intercooler is 12.00 and it’s with 19” FK510 crappy tires. Next week I’m doing stage 2 tune, dyno tune as always, hopefully it hit 11.6 at least. I feel bad for you mate

Great runs man! i'm looking to go stage 2 next summer most likely and can't wait to get it to the strip - what tires are you running? I have a buddy who's stage 2 APR tuned by APR on his Golf R and he runs 11.8/11.9's consistently.

You keep it on s mode, but if you put it in s mode shift mode you will go to higher rpms. I did 12.1 with a 2016. Less hp then your car and i only have a 6 speed
