I've always been more of a pants (specifically shorts, jeans, cargo pants, and leggings) kind of girl. I do enjoy seeing pretty dresses on other women and people though. However, I've recently gotten into wanting to wear a couple of sundresses that I've seen online that I found very cute, but I would be more comfortable with wearing them if I had some shorts or leggings to wear underneath them. That's just me though, lol. I definitely think that commenter (the one whose comment Vaush read out loud) who said that sundresses are like some gateway to pedophilia/submissiveness to men/juvenile or some shit was SUPER overreaching though. @@evanr9583 depends on the degree of "hide", a dress still outlines the booba. She's not telling girls to wear cargo pants and a hoodie. Nothing wrong with any clothes either. But I think if the intent is to entice a man into marrying you with just your looks and fake smile, min-maxing sexuality and personality, doesn't sound very modest. Modesty would be toning it down, whereas Abby insist this is what men are truly attracted to. So, ladies, these are the things that you need to do to be attractive to Abbie Shapiro’s husband. We all advertise ourselves all of the time. The angle to take is to determine what audience we wish to advertise to, and present one’s self in a manner befitting that group. Another couple thoughts: Sundresses are definitely attractive, and dresses are really hot in the 'dressed up' kind of way that I *imagine* suits can be for people attracted to men (or to women who wear suits). But in general my first impressions as a straight guy are really positive of women in jeans and comfy t-shirts, or leggins or whatever. Most women I find attractive are just attractive pretty much whatever they're wearing. And the smiling thing... of course smiling is attractive. But, like, holy shit can we back off the 'smile more' meme? All the women who have been attracted to me have smiled plenty at me, because they were interested. If a woman isn't smiling you don't have to fucking psychoanalyse them. I don't smile all the time, or even frequently, without specific reason. It's a normal person thing...

What's a sundress to men?
@carmensavu51223 жыл бұрын
I'm a woman attracted to men and I have to say, I really, really don't understand the suit thing. I hate them on men, and I hate them on women. Suits basically make it impossible for me to tell anything about that man, because they essentially make these men dress the same. A man's clothing style can tell me quite a bit about what that man is about, what his interests are, etc. If I see a guy dressed in a hippie attire, on the other hand, that catches my interest immediately.

You don't have to wear a whole tuxedo but tailored blazers, shirts, good pants make a man instantly more attractive and different from everybody else in the crowd. Granted they should all fit great. Literally all men wear is jeans and some boring t-shirt or smth similar to it.
@FrenkieWest323 жыл бұрын
@@carmensavu5122 You do realize that theres different types of formal attire the same way as theres different types of informal attire? Saying people who wear suits all dress the same is as strange as saying everyone who wears in hippie attire dresses the same.
@manderly333 жыл бұрын
“Dresses accentuated the differences between men and women.” They . . . do? It depends on the dress. Some are more straight-up-and-down or full, ESPECIALLY sundresses. Like that one commenter said, some sundresses are quite girlish/childish. Like Hannah of Hannah & Jake said, Abby’s advice always make it sound like she’s an alien who just landed on Earth. It’s so rudimentary. PS: some dudes hate perfume, my husband being one of them.

True story: I am a man, and I once was fired from a job because I didn't "smile enough". What was the job, you ask? Security Guard. Yes...apparently, my boss believed that smiling and wearing a constant, fake, forced affectation on my face all day long was somehow integral to performing the duties of a security guard. Because after all, when you think of a person who's there to keep you safe, the first thing you envision is some soyboy with a big dopey grin, right? FYI, this particular boss of mine was well-known for having a major stick up his ass and seemed to have a problem with every single person on his staff, to the point where he would just make up and spread lies about employees for the sake of having an excuse to disparage them. But I digress. So ladies, while I'm sure being told to "smile more" is exceptionally annoying, and I have no doubt you have to put up with it a thousand times worse than men do, but just know that it's something men on occasion also have to deal with, and in cases like mine, can actually lose their livelihood over.

I was a skinny shy goth kid, She was a tomboy with panda-eye punk rock make-up and facial piercings, who literally never wore a dress, had this insane dyed razor-fringe, and always had this resting death stare and a take-no-shit assertive attitude. I instantly fell for her. We are in our 20s now, and while she does the "natural" make up look more often now (she's crazy good at make-up, learnt it all from tutorials on youtube) and has forsaken dye for her natural strawberry blonde hair colour, she still wears her hair in this cool as fuck undercut style- and will even put on a dress from time to time... with the explicit intent of showing off her tattoos. And as far as I'm concerned, she's the most beautiful women in the the world. IT'S ALMOST LIKE DIFFERENT MEN HAVE DIFFERENT PREFERENCES AND THERE MIGHYT ACTUALLY BE SOMETHING TO THE "BE YOURSELF" CLICHÉ????? WOAH NO WAY?
