After riding every sport and cruiser bike around, I recently added a 1965 Vespa, and it's FANTASTIC. Get on a P200 Vintage Vespa where you have to shift, and it's actually quick. You will LOVE it!

I got a 80s chetak recently which is basically the Indian clone of a 60s vespa and I completely agree, they are super fun but very fast compared to modern day cvt scooters but who cares it's just plain fun.

With a 15 year run (1998-2013) the Honda "Deauville" (named after a French seaside resort) was initially based on the Honda NTV650 (EU "Revere", cousin of the NT650 "Hawk GT"). Updated to the 700cc and given fuel injection with the 3rd gen (2006-2013+).

The NC750 is a bike that nobody loves but lots of people love the chill kind of riding that the NC is so good at. Vespas are even better at chill riding. They look fantastic while being very practical and lots of folks love them. I had been thinking of switching out my NC for a Superduke due to the softening in the used market but maybe I'd be a lot happier switching out my NC for a Vespa GTS.

Honda NT700V aka Honda Deauville. V-twin engine, drive shaft and factory integrated side cases. Pretty nice bike. Not sure if it was on sale in U.S.

The first bike is a HONDA NT700V DEAUVILLE (2006 - 2015) it has the same engine as the 2008 - 2012 700cc honda transalp the one with the circle headlight. It is definitely not a bagger nor is it a small cc ctx1300. It is a 700 cc shaft driven v twin touring bike or a middle weight touring bike with built in luggage. 65hp and 66nm dry weight of 236kg/520 lbs top speed of around 115mph, 5 speed but so many owners complain it could do with a sixth gear and it has a 19lt tank. Hope this clears things up on what bike it is

Yam getting a Vespa and riding around on it while doing vlogs seems hilarious to me. Also for your sake I am hoping you could test out the 450 SS in track setup. Curious what you'd think of it.

I rode an Aprillia 125cc scooter once and it was like death on wheels. It had no power, no handling or brakes and at 80 kph it felt like it was going to suddenly yeet me off the road and self destruct while in mid-air. I can't imagine a Vespa would be much different. Never meet your heroes, Yam.

I died laughing at the NT700V because I’ve been a hardcore motorcycle enthusiast for a decade now and have spent the last 6 months working in a motorcycle dealership, only to be completely puzzled by the same bike. I had a customer ask me about taking one in on trade last Saturday and until that moment I hadn’t heard of or seen one either. I think Honda is doing some fruit of loom cornucopia social experiment in reverse. Instead of convincing us the cornucopia never existed they made a dozen of nt700v’s, insisted they’re 2010’s, and are now trying to convince us they’ve been here all along. Fuck man maybe the birds aren’t real.

Dude... IDK why, but I too am big scoots curious. And the Vespa is that king of lets cruise the Rivera styling. Or lets go find some rockers and start crap on the British beaches. It's just a scooter that is all about image for some reason. And yeah, there's a desire to have one (also a Ruckus for me) for just screwing around with, or taking to large car shows to get around quickly on. If I could get the "kawasaki underglow rip" in short format to send to my Kawasaki owning friends with underglow - that'd be great too. :D

I can't believe that the "new" zx-6r 2024 is a great looking bike, the front end is really aggressive and overall it has excellent proportions and cuts, it reminds me just a tiny bit of the 2003 zx-6r which is one my fav looking supersport (maybe after the 2006 r6). It's strange to say it in these days, where almost everyhting is so orrible!

Goldwing is flat, not boxer. Also, the Deauville is a well-known, long-production motorcycle from Honda. Look outside the limited (and quite provincial) US market if you plan to present yourself as a knowledgeable source on Things Motorcycle.

this is why I always hesitate to click on these Rate N Roast videos.....because the last thing I want to do is listen to Yam explain his ignorance of a bike for 60+ seconds or more. Dude, in the amount of time it took you to say " I don't know anything about this bike", you couldve looked up SOMETHING. its especially frustrating when i do know something about the bike, and when I remember that Yam could have an employee, or ChatGPT, or something else that would be loads better than "yeah, for the fourth time, I don't know anyyythingg about this bike". thanks very much for adding chapter markers Jeezus
