@@samuelgalea7679 Ariana is very talented and one of the best vocalists in current mainstream music but to be put in the same sentence as Whitney???!!?? Hell no. Ariana has range and a sweet tone, but she lacks the vocal weight, resonance, and soulfulness of legends like Whitney, Aretha, Mariah, Patti, just to name a few. Not even comparable and to put those two - Ariana and Whitney - in the same sentence as if to imply that they’re on a similar tier vocally is just blasphemous.

@@honestboy bridget mendler , bella throne, and R5 arent really 2000s as their career was more 2010s. idk why some people refer to early 2010s as 2000s era, its really not. R5's music was literally in 2014, which was really 2010s with the smartphone era, nothing about it is 2000s. 2014 music is not 2000s. it is really inaccurate to refer to them as such, like saying kesha's music was from the 1990s. please in your next videos, refer to 2010s music as 2010s, not 2000s, even if they came out in 2010. the only music you can call 2000s were music taht actually came out in 2000-2009. 2014 was nothing like 2000s. R5 loud and hillary duff- so yesterday came out in two really different time periods. 2013 smartphone was already popular and social media, while 'so yesterday' era was not smartphone era. really different musical time periods. if you dont call music from 2018 the '2000s', then music from 2014 also should not be referred as '2000s'.

Are you talking about how in her documentary in 2018 she mentioned that she felt like she was singing songs that she thought would please people and not herself? I hope this makes you feel better but that doesn’t mean that she hates the songs for she still sings La La Land and sang Get Back for her fans at her house. People can sing songs wishing that they can do more with it and waiting to make their own music yet they still love it. After all Miley Cyrus had said before that she felt disconnected with her old music yet now she says that she loves them.😉

I know it is a niche aproach, but the climax lyrics in So yestarday, the if the light is off then it isn't oooon, fit really well in my opinion in the song. The song is about a guy who can't understand that their realtionship is over. So she is trying to tell him that in all the verious ways she can, and at the end, when she can't think of a single metaphor for the end of the relationship, she says the most blatent thing possible, to make the guy understand, in the most simple terms, that their relationship ended. I always found it really intersting and kinda smart.

honestly demi's don't forget is the only one i continue to listen to. the whole album stays true to that paramore rock disney pop style and i think it's balanced well. it doesn't sound *too* dated either. i like the more raw feel with their voice taking the focus. rather than cringe over processed barely singing bs that many did and unfortunately still do. i found it to be alot more true to real teen feelings without it coming off like some 40 year old man trying to make relatable music. they seemed really into it aswell and pop rock has proven to be THEIR genre. oh and here we go again slapped. demi knew what they were doing. what an icon.

I was disappointed for not seeing Ashley Tisdale on this ranking, I think that her music debut was outside Disney's machine but still, she was a Disney star around that time. She released two really bold and amazing pop albums, they remind me a lot to Britney Spears during Britney/In The Zone. Gosh it was so nice to take a trip down memory lane and hear about these songs again. I completely forgot all of these songs existed. I’m definitely about to go listen to a few of them for nostalgia 😩😩

Honest you’re always on it. Legit last night I went back to listen to some Bridgit Mendler. Ready or Not was everything when it came out. Although I will admit I’m a little sad that you didn’t amplify the recipe but I can respect your thoughts about Holla At The DJ. But nobody can deny that miss CoCo was one of the strongest vocalists on Disney Channel.

Demi and Bridgit's debut singles r the ones I absolutely loved growing up, they still slap now. I don't think I really knew So Yesterday when I was younger, I actually thought Come Clean was her 1st single but honestly, So Yesterday goes pretty hard. Fallin Down is great, I just wish a better singer had sung it. Mandy is a good, fun, and cute song but the Jonas Brothers' music got so much better after that. Baby Come Back, never liked, R5 I don't listen to at all, Holla At the DJ I only found out about 2 years ago and it's good, See You Again is great, and Bella Thorne's song sucks PS: No it is not just nostalgia, the JoBros, Demi, Jesse McCartney, Miley, Aly & AJ, etc. all had great top tier music despite the fact that it was aimed at the Disney crowd

Some of these songs are from after my time as a Disney Channel viewer, but I will say, "Come Back To Me" by Vanessa Hudgens is my personal favorite on this list. When I started listening to songs on an mp3 player in the early 2010s, I found myself revisiting that song and playing it on repeat. I haven't heard "So Yesterday" since early 2000s Radio Disney, and even then, I thought it was a nice spot-filler on the radio set list. Also, it's funny, but a friend of mine actually sang "See You Again" (another song I haven't heard in a while) at karaoke tonight! It reminded me that Miley was truly in her element as a rock singer and I'm glad she went in that direction with her career as of recent.
