Just to mention some of the vids you have seen are pretty old and they didn't have their 'leaps skills'( it's like a updated extension for their movesets) for these characters: 32:16 , 34:56 And also if you're struggling to find video for certain characters such as Nanani Storm maybe search for guide videos for them

English Nanami is an acquired taste, I couldn't handle it at the beginning eather, also the first Lucia you complained about the ult being lame, her ult is basically a transformation, that's what made her get various floating swords and her attacks all flashy and such.

Wants to show Liv Eclipse, shows Liv Luminace, ooops, wrong, show Liv Lux instead lol Still wrong xD Wants to show Nanami Storm, shows Nanami Pulse lol This is only 5 minutes in, I wonder how much more confusion there is lol I do wonder why you had such a hard time finding videos... but I guess most showcases are boss showcases/no damage runs so I guess you would have more luck with those search words. Lucia Dawn's Ult is so underwhelming because it's just a stance switch which unsheathes her 6 swords instead of just her normal blade. I love how both Karenina showcases had special effects set to the lowest setting xD Okay, the Roland picture for the Watanabe showcase is comedy gold xD Kamui Bastion's main gimmick is his counter which is pretty cool, and made him one of the best survivability units back then. Kamui Tenebrion again suffers from the fact that his ult is only a stance switch which makes him faster and deal darkness damage.

You're not missing anything special with the starter omns. Also mini spoiler, the beginning gameplay are a bit on the dogwater side especially when you have to control non-standard units since this is an old gacha game, but it gets better. For a similar game aside from Honkai Impact 3, go for Aether Gazer.
