would be cool if you could choose a "island type" - if it's a "natural island" you can have more trees and weeds and stuff and if it's a "city island" you can have more stuff and a bit more crammed without affecting the rating! I am making a forest island but have to skirt the line of not having too many trees which makes it more of a normal cottage core island than clearly a forest sadly

Just restarted my NL town after 7yrs. Realized I never got very far in it despite playing a bunch. I’m having a blast rediscovering the game. Some tips I’ll share with you. 1) The stalk market price changes twice a day, once in the AM once in the PM. 2) On the island, fish up any large size fish and sharks as well as beetles. Prices are 4K-15k. 3) If your pockets are full, you can still purchase a hat if you aren’t already wearing one by first trying it on and then choosing “wear it out”.

Pokemon Sleep is nice if you need something to wake up to every day. From what I've heard, sleep tracking apps are mostly useless anyway - they only track noise and movement, so they can only guess at the quality of your sleep. I have terrible sleep, and sometimes I just lie to it and tell it to start tracking when I'm not in bed yet... lol. The Pokemon models and animations are very polished and delightful to look at, and it just feels good to passively gather them.

If I had to give one reason as to why I got back into Pokémon go heavily. I’d say it’s because it scratches my itch to get back into Pokémon

Animal Crossing is the perfect live service game Nintendo could have supported for years, instead they pulled the devs of this to work on Splatoon or other projects. Goes to show how out of touch Nintendo is with the current gaming landscape. You're right fans of this series would happily shell out money to support it and Nintendo really missed out on that revenue.

A completely forgotten (but absolutely goated) feature of Pokémon Battle Revolution was its ability to import your own Pokémon from Gen 4 games. Not only was that Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, but it also included HG/SS. It was pretty awesome getting to play with your own Pokémon (even gigantic legendaries) on the television for the first time. Your Pokémon even kept their same move sets! I had a boatload of fun with it as a child.

I got animal crossing new leaf today and start my town, who are my 2 top villagers, ROALD AND TANGY!!

At least a year late on this one, but I feel like the "rudeness" factor could be balanced out by having another villager stand up for you. Say you're "friends" with one villager, and another one calls you fat. Either the friend villager can be right there and call the rude villager out on it, or (since it's a small world in Animal Crossing), your friend catches wind that a villager was being mean to you, and offers some encouraging words (as well as offering to give them some encouraging words (depending on their personality, this can be done nicely or "reap what you sow")). Kids learn to stand up for themselves and others, and they also learn how to deal with bullies.
