I’ll never understand some people’s urge to insult a stranger on the internet for no apparent reason. I joined a “Learn to speak Swedish” Discord once and posted a bit about my Swedish family history. The first reply was some random guy telling me that I was “so lame” that my ancestors “died of it”. Very odd and confusing response, considering that this same person had just offered to help someone else with their Swedish.
