Cool paraglider sighting! One spot I used to hunt had a skydiving school nearby. Sometimes around sundown we'd hear the 'pop' of parachutes opening, and occasionally we'd hear somone yelling "Yehaw" up in the sky. Interesting times…

Brian... I immediately identified this Snake as the Canebrake--note the post ocular stripe (line). But--I went to my references to differentiate between the Timber and the Canebrake Rattlers. The post ocular stripe appears to be one of the most definitive markings, since the Timber lacks such a stripe. What a sighting! Thanks for the opportunity to view this one, Brian! bsgit

How do you like the Gen2 6.5 Grendel Ranch? Looks like it shoots very well.
@pigpoppertx69262 ай бұрын
@@vikingr3572 I am enjoying the Gen2 Ranch Rifle experience for sure I wasn’t exactly sure how a 16” would do with some of my handloads (designed for longer barrels) but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I replaced the factory trigger spring with an Mcarbo one - it helped smooth out the trigger. No stoppages during hunting so long as I work the bolt hard and fast. And accuracy is there - I’m happy 30 Rar ammo is looking a bit thin, might not be see it until winter Economics at play, I just bought 1k rounds of grendel factory ammo for the price it would cost me to load 300 rounds of RAR

Mahalo from Hawaii! Have learned Lots -years of your vids. Way too many here, hunting from my back porch. Pigs are Tough!🌈👍

@stevebaraka257 Mahalo! Thanks for watching my vids! I have not heard a lot out of Hawaii, so you are a new pin in the map, thank you. Which island? How are you hunting them there. Here on the mainland, we hear strange things about y'all's laws.

Hi, Brian---Our son informs me that my former comment about this Rattler being a Canebrake is incorrect--He says: "Based on DNA analysis, the distinction between the Timber and the Canebrake Rattlers has been revised--they now are considered to be the same species despite the differences in appearance." My apologies for my error which was based on outdated information (my age--NOT lol). Thanks for the wonderful photo of this Herp! bsgit

excellent hunt, sir. My nephew nailed a 202lb boar with his 6.5 Sunday night. He dropped on the spot but didn't do the usual Curly Shuffle. just lay there. We approached and he reacted. It took another 5 or 6 rounds from the 22 mag to the melon for this guy to succumb. I have never seen anything like it. Thanks for sharing your hunts. Cheers from N/W Louisiana.
