everyone is innocent until proven guilty here in America (lol). second, the body hasn't been id'd yet, and there hasn't been probable cause hearing which is basically giving quick info saying I think she's guilty because of this...and then judge decides (almost always) that there's probable cause and then everyone just about is given bail (even if the bail is outrageous - it's supposed to be a guarantor that the defendant shows to court not a penalization - but also something that is in line with an amount that will ensure appearance based on them not wanting to lose a ton of $$ or a house/car/whatever they use as collateral)...also, just because she's in possession of a dead body doesn't mean that she killed that body (thats what charges are for)...all of these things work together to determine a band that is determined by the judge. then, case goes from there.

@@leann4925 and Kim August there‘s no evidence that the father was involved, though neither him nor the natural mother will win 'Parent of the Year' any time soon. There were two different people involved in moving the body. The first one who actually helped put him in the tub is her room-mate and I’ve no idea why they haven’t been charged yet unless they are making some sort of deal. The second one with the pick up truck didn’t know what or who was in the container, but as soon as they got to the motel he phoned the police and told them about the tub and the fouled smell. Quite possibly without him she could still be on the run and no one would know where poor Samuel was.

I think dad and GF were out to hurt mom. Bio mom had custody of the boy and dad or GF showed up with a man claiming to be a Detroit police saying the child had to go with dad . That was the last time mom spoke to the child. The court documents state mother and father had a bad relationship and could not work together. There relationship is toxic and abusive. So I believe she had physical custody and the evil they have inside them, was not match for an innocent child. Even his own. I do not believe for a second dad is an innocent bystander.

@@bubblessmile6514 That story that Teresa Balboa told, about how Sarah {Samuel's mother} showed up with a police officer & he demanded that Samuel was to go with them, was a fake, made-up story concocted by Teresa herself, in an attempt to divert any suspicion off of herself and onto Sarah. Teresa's fake story fell apart when authorities were able to prove (from surveillance camera footage at Sarah's home) that Sarah was at _her own_ home at the time that she was supposedly at Teresa's home with the police officer (who doesn't even exist), demanding that Samuel be given to them. I do agree with you that Samuel's dad had _something_ to do with this. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's my opinion.

She gets bond because she's only been charged with the relatively minor charge of tampering with evidence. Until a cause of death is determined, she cannot be charged with anything else. As it is, the judge gave her the highest bond possible. No bondsman is going to touch it, and she doesn't have the means to pay it.

There will be bigger charges soon and more people as well. Her roommate will have a plea deal as he was the one that rang and gave her motel address. Hopefully he will still be facing accessory charges.
