@Apostolic Cruiser ; there are complete raw foods for dogs. I give my dog, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier weighing 23 kilos, half a kilo of raw dogfood a day, in 2 meals of 250 grams. I live in the Netherlands and I buy the brands Carnibest ( which is expensive) and Mulders. ( Cheap) ( You can see the difference in meat between the two brands.) I started with giving these raw food because my dog started to scratch himself a lot when he was young , he had red spots in his arm pits and groins, the vet told me he was allergic to food because of the spots being in mirror image of each other. If he was allergic to something he came in contact with it would not be so. He gave me the advice to start with hypo-allergic kibble. But I didn't listen to him and started with raw food which was CHEAPER than that special anti-allergic kibble!!! Six years after and he still has no allergic reactions. (Only when I give him a piece of my sandwich, which I sometimes forget to not to do).

Yes! I transitioned my pack of three German Shepherds to raw. Wow! I noticed the difference in two weeks; smaller stools, shining coat and teeth, and tons more energy. My oldest Shepherd was a sport dog and developed a bone spurt in his spine. He was gaining weight due to less mobility. Raw leaned him again and give him the energy to join my younger dogs on long walks again. He’s back to his old antics. Feeding raw is how I payback my dog’s loyalty and hard work for me.

I've been feeding my Labradors a raw diet for years now and they go nuts over carrots, whole ones. They also like liver, heart, tripe and kidney, oh and yes they also enjoy eggs whole! When I am making dinner they come to get whatever veg I am preparing, it's almost like an illicit treat. However I was truly amazed when they came round me to beg for a piece of tangerine that I was eating, and they enjoyed it! So, now any fruit or veg (except onion) is fair game for them. Healthy, happy and shiney.

I never feed my dog veggies, he doesn't like them, but I do give him like a tablespoon amount of a banana every now and then. a good trick for that is using chicken leg quarters since they are naturally balanced for most dogs just make sure you're getting the cheapest stuff you can since then it comes from the biggest factory farm around and the last thing they want is salmonella going through there so they inoculate them in the egg so there's pretty much a 0% chance of your dog getting salmonella however make sure it's full leg quarters do not use legs and thighs they are different

I feed my husky raw and it’s been the best choice for her. She gets a pound a day and it’s usually a raw egg with a chicken quarter. Other times I Mix it up with a variety of lamb turkey or duck with chicken livers and sardines. She loves it. Also Stella and cheweys is a great brand sold in pet store that makes burger patties with the exact right balance of nutrition. I give a burger for 2 or three meals per week.

Hello! It would be cool to do a video on the range of prices. Like how much that bol you did could cost per day or how much were those lamb treats. I feel that all this is quite expensive. Its not easy for the little folks but we still want the best for our pets

I love your laughs, too cute and pretty. My mom and dad feed it all raw and freshly kill. Loves the internal organs, especially the green tripe. My favorite are goat, lamb, salmon, beef, and occassionally venison. Thanks for your show.

Thank you so much for taking the time to make this informative and encouraging video. I've been considering this for my dogs for quite some time, but have the normal doubts that most have. After watching your video though I think I may go ahead and give it a try. Thanks again

Hi, love your video, beautiful dog by the way. Can I pls ask, would I need to worry about small bones hurting my dogs stomach or intestines ? Thank you..
@rachs77926 жыл бұрын
If they are raw, no they won't hurt your dogs stomach, but never feed cooked bones, because they can
@kubilayalbayrak84196 жыл бұрын
cooking or applying any kind of heat to a bone changes bones microscopie structure and makes it very fragile so when it breaks it breaks like glass and have sharp edges. raw bones do not break with really sharp edges so it is safe to eat

A & B.!.! Thank you so much for an amazing video. You have single handedly help to simplify an otherwise complex and controversial issue. I watched your video yesterday and promptly proceeded to gear up for RAW BARF. The Mortar and Pestle idea is simply brilliant. Thank you again.

My dog ate rat poison once so id disagree. Did it at 11 at night so all vets were closed, found a 24hr one but was to far of a drive so the vet over the phone instructed us how to fix it. Was a rough night.

She wouldnt eat lettuce but ate rat poison so i dont think they k kw whats what tbh. My mum in summer every monday makes a huge salad and that'd go with dinner for 2-3 nights and if there was any left we gave it to the dog, she'd pick through all the shredded lettuce for the pieces of carrot, tomato etc.

Thank you for the information. :) I want to make sure my future german shepherd eats healthy but it is hard sometimes because a lot of people give bad information and false advertising. This video makes more sense than the flashy kibble marketing for sure.

OMG THANK YOU so much... & a question - why do some brands put garlic in their raw food - I thought garlic was an absolute No?
@hasbullahtheg.o.a.t94155 жыл бұрын
It is Google it but think it's like chocolate big dog has a smallest bit chocolate won't really affect it same as garlic but small dog has a huge bit of chocolate same as garlic then there is a massive problem obviously same as big dogs
@biancabee77315 жыл бұрын
I thought chocolate was an absolute No. Cocoa is really bad for dogs. I personally wouldn't risk it no matter their size.

This is just what I was looking for! Thank you so much for making this video... My dogs keep getting sick and don't even want to eat their food anymore, I've tried a few different brands and still same result. I'm sure they will love this diet, I'm hoping it will strengthen their immune system and settle their tummies. The recipe is so simple and quick there's no excuse not to! Any suggestions on the amount of food I should feed them per day? I have a 30 lb husky 1 yr old and 45 lb Pitt bull 3 yr old. Again thanks for making this video it's a life saver!
@Tatziana_6 жыл бұрын
Loved this video Anneka. My dogs love raw food and I can vouch on everything you said as my dogs are so healthy and I have never taken them to the vet for 3 years now. I have fed them raw food since they were pups so they are pretty much use to chewing the food without me having to blend the vegetables. They even chew the egg shells without me crushing it. They love green leaves too, have you tried "Kankun" ? it's a very healthy leaf, my dogs just love chewing them at anytime I make it for ourselves. Duke my Husky mix loves natural food he eats kibbles only as a last resort lol. My american Lab had never eaten raw food until I adopted her, she just copies my husky mix Duke in everything he does and now she is a very healthy and happy dog :) try murunga leaves too, it's a super food both good for humans and dogs.

100% believe in this diet. I’ve been feeding my cocker spaniel a raw meat diet with “some” processed meat for his entire life.. he’s now 14 and still kicking hard.

I am frowned upon for feeding my dogs meat and chicken bones.....yet...Rottie 14 years....no health problems......Shepherd 14 years....no health problems....all my other dogs lasted into their mid teens......all rescued....now my dogo eats the same diet and she has overcome other illnesses quick......also had 2 dogs with leishmaniasis.....both lived until they were old.....packet dog food is shit....same as us eating msg......I'm really liking your videos
@jussanesanchez96524 жыл бұрын
frowned upon, i would say thats a little dramatic, its okay your dogs will live longer than any of theres and though thats awful they will see that its the best thing you could do for them.

I've been feeding my dog a home cooked meal most of his life. I do give him some raw foods here and there but not 100%. The dilemma is he has a partial perineal hernia and it's important for him to not strain when going to the bathroom. I make a stew with chicken, and a lot of veg. I would like to feed him his natural diet in the raw form but concerned. Any help/advice would be appreciated.
@jjbowman46535 жыл бұрын
WEUNITE omg that sounds horrible (for the longest time my doctor was concerned I had a hiatal hernia just over my stomach and I did a bunch of research) what your doing (stewing it for softness) is amazing!
