I heard: 12 white jurors aren't gonna convict 4 white police officers for beating a black man. Also at 10:18 he said " This is a bedroom community" for officers. So these guys live in a white neighborhood, go out and beat up on black people that they don't live with. Then go home and act like nothing happened.

Politics. Simi Valley is a very conservative city. It's where Regan's library and body are. If this case happened today Fox news would be siding with the police officers who beat him. The jury only saw a drunk driver getting what he deserved while the rest of the world saw a racist police department beat another black man without consequences.

@@hope2dope No the ones on meth are the ones who have been in the streets for 100+ days destroying towns. Its funny how everyone is making it out to be a race thing. How come no one brings up the fact, one of the cops was black. I'm not saying they shouldn't be charged but why always play the race card. Its amazes me how stupid fucks always want to do away with racism except they are the same ones to always bring race into it. For instance, how come it'll say a white person murdered a black person. But at the same time when blacks kill blacks or blacks kill whites, the skin color is never included. You ever think the media makes it out to be more then it is. Also there is nothing holding black people back from being successful besides themselves. Another thing, when it comes to rich white kids, they always preach white privalage. So what about Lebron James's kids. Where's the white privalage there. Its not a race thing. Maybe daddy privalage cause there dad is successful but nothing to do about race. Maybe if more black dads were around, there kids could experience that. But when your a dead beat and don't take care of your kids, don't blame it on race

5:15 back when lawyers had emotions. Back when not everything was about $$$. This lawyer is a good man. I hope he is doing well now. 30 years gone in a flash. Now brutality has worsened with tasers and guns. Killing blacks is more “acceptable” now. What a shame. This jury has blood on its hands. If they had punished these out of control cops USA might have been a bit different today.

Yes but a judge can overturn a jury trial but it's very rare
@andrewalmada
@andrewalmada 2 жыл бұрын
A judge can only overturn a guilty verdict. They can’t overturn a not guilty verdict because that would violate the defendant’s 5th amendment right. Therefore in this case all 4 officers were found not guilty on all counts so it was impossible for the judge to overturn any of the verdicts to guilty.

Fred Frampton you and the prosecution couldn’t prove he did it. They examined that bronco and there was barely any blood in there. About 2 drops worth of blood in the bronco. A few smears here and there. There was 1.5mL of blood missing that they can’t account for. Where are the bloody clothes and murder weapon? Why wouldn’t they allow Nicole’s phone records in court?? It shows OJ was leaving a voicemail at the time of the murders. If Kato heard 3 bumps of the back wall why wouldn’t he see what happened?
