Thankyou for keeping it simple. Just a bike a road and that beautiful V twin rumble 👍👍

This is my most recent bike, the Special Edition. Love it. Enjoyed your video. Thanks!

I have a '23 Special Edition as well. I had the dealer replace the Arrow mufflers with a set of Agostini full-length reverse cone mufflers, remove the dB killers, install an airbox lid elimination kit, and do the UPMAP tune before I took delivery. The V7 Stone is what comes to mind when I hear "Moto Guzzi": big transverse air-cooled v-twin with shaft drive. My '23 SE is the sixth Guzzi I've owned over the last 40 years, and my seventh Guzzi is a '24 V100 Mandello Aviazione Navale. Great bikes in their own right, but that SE is just classic Guzzi!

Nice video, very nice drone intro, enjoyed cockpit view and no talk-great. Watched your shifting pattern via the "eagle" on the LCD dash. In contrast to some, I loved the LCD dash: modern and classic united in one. I purchased my V7 Stone Ten a month ago (same as yours, same windshield and engine protection bars, too; different paint job). As of now, I have 100 miles on it (in Seattle, WA). The bike is really a lot of fun to ride-very relaxing. Very happy about my purchase. BTW, shifting gears (and finding neutral) got very smooth after approximately 80 miles. Thank you for sharing your video.

I didn’t know this version was available when I bought my V7 a month ago, or I would’ve opted for it, still love my standard V7 850 though.

I love the engine rumble of Moto Guzzi transverse v twins! Miss my 750 Breva so much.

Superb video and good sound recording! It looks if the 850 pulls a lot harder than my older 750cc V7 from 2014.

Thanks. It has torque but it isn't fast bike. 10/10 for looks and character

Wow! Just planning to buy V7 and watched this randomly - I have recognized this road as one of the National Hill Climb Racing which I did couple of years ago in Slovakia (Jahodna if remember well). It was nice to see it from bike perspective :-)

its a pity they put digital clocks on a traditionally styled bike. analogue would look so much nicer.

I totally agree:)

The Special has the analogue clocks but it is also more expensive !

I agree. But the bike itself looks stunning.

I'm thinking about buying one. People are complaining about shifting into a first gear. Is that a problem? Thanks
@JelloThatsMellow Жыл бұрын
This is one of those rare/weird bikes where the transmission actually breaks in over time. I've got a v7 (same bike special edition!) That used to be crunchy/clunky with the shifts. Now it can clutchless shift silently and N-1st-2nd is a light *thud* instead of a *C-THUNK*. Character I guess lol. For comparison my Triumph speed twin 1200 has stayed exactly the same for the last 5k miles. Smooth, refined power with a great rumble. People advise changing the oil as soon as possible after the break in period; I agree with this too. Really vibey but gets much smoother with time. 6th gear especially (it's actually rougher than 5th most of the time for some reason). Also unlike typical v-twin engines it actually makes more power and smoothens out after 5k rpm. Ride this thing to the redline! Currently have 3.5k miles on it. Need to change the oil again to see for sure. I accidentally changed oil at 600 (modern bike interval) instead of Guzzi's suggested 900. Let me know if you have any more questions!

@@JelloThatsMellow So no problem? Thank you for your reply. I do love the bike otherwise.
@JelloThatsMellow Жыл бұрын
@@mrwonderful4007 I haven't had any issues so far. Things I wish were better (ohlins suspension, double front disc brakes, more POWER, etc), but nothing that actually needed to get fixed. Just hop on and ride! Oh, I don't have a recent comparison on hand, but the bike runs much nicer after having its ecu flashed. It definitely was a little tricky with low speed city filtering before, but now it's quite good. Twin cylinder character (applies to the triumph too) means it'll never run as smoothly down low as a 4 cylinder though, even with their great torque.

schönes Video :) ....kleine Kritik an Dir...

I had once a V7 Racer with a Mistral Exhaust and sometimes it had some really loud pops out if the Exhaust pipe. Does yours it to? By the way, awesome filming and amazing sound
@petrolhead_sk Жыл бұрын
This is a stock bike. It has some pops, but nothing dramatic. Just something to tease the aftermarket for you, so you have to give it a try :)

Sounds like you have a different exhaust, it's backfiring could it be running too lean?

Brand new bike. It has Moto Guzzi by Arrow written over, but it seems Like an original. I thought all have that.
@paolospalletta9012 Жыл бұрын
This is the special edition, different exhaust and with that exhaust made by arrow for this bike the V7 gained slightly more power (66,5 HP instead of 65 and 75nM of torque instead of 73)
