It's Raw vs Nitro from 3.11.1996 !
We are now months into the Monday Night War as WCW Nitro on TNT takes on WWF Monday Night Raw on the USA Network. WrestleMania XII and Uncensored 96 are coming up soon, and both companies use these shows to add a little hype to the upcoming pay per views. We find out that WCW Uncensored will feature a "Doomsday Cage Match" where The Mega Powers will take on Ric Flair, Lex Luger, Kevin Sullivan and Arn Anderson. More heels would get added on next week's show but for now, it's a 4 on 2 match. Over on Raw, we get a chance to see Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels training for their upcoming 60 minute Iron Man Match at WrestleMania.
Superstars we see in this week's episode include Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Giant, Roddy Piper, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, The Road Warriors, The Undertaker, and we also see the return of one of the very best tag teams in the world!
00:00 - Raw and Nitro's opening matches
06:13 - The Return of one of wrestling's greatest tag teams
09:21 - Roddy Piper confronts Goldust
11:33 - Lex Luger vs Alex Wright
14:10 - The Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels Training Videos
16:22 - HHH in action
17:48 - The main events
23:55 - Final Scores

Carlos Perez he was definitely juicing during this time period as well, he just hadn’t gone off the deep end with it. He was naturally big and stocky, but look at him in the mid 80’s vs him in this time period. Then do the same for Rick. Rick was basically the same and Scott, although not nearly as crazy juiced up as he would become was still definitely on the sauce at this point.

Despite all the hate. Michael's and Hart put on nothing but classic matches. You have to at least trust who you work with in this business. They didn't even like each other.

You forgot to mention that not too long before they returned, the Steiners showed up in ECW to team up with Tazz

I think it's amazing that Ed Leslie came back after that boating accidentally. I just seen that he had something like 100 staples when that happened. I hate his characters but he is tough man. Messed up his face and all that but you can't tell (I can't anyways)

100 staples. One staple for each gimmick.

Marlena was so hot. Road Warriors/Steiners or a Godwinns Squash match? let me think on that. I actually enjoyed the chaos of the WWF main event, and the WCW as well (except for Hogan), the fans cheering for Flair over Hogan was hilarious. I prefered Luger/Wright, so for me the score was 2-2, but the main event should be the tie-breaker so I give the night to WWF

LMAO...you think HHH was ever gonna allow A JOBBER some offense? He couldn't bury that guy fast enough!

I can't believe that so many wrestlers put up with taking the Pedigree that way for so long. Nowadays, HHH releases the arms mid-move, because keeping his opponent's arms locked all the way down doesn't protect you at all. Face, chest, abs, privates, all exposed and no means of protecting against the bump.

The upcoming nitro episodes from May the bar was rising though nobody at the time knew. Raw will struggle May to July.

Agree with "God help that poor woman!". I mean, Ed Leslie has eyes for only one person, the one he's spent decades "hangin and bangin" with!

The Bret vs. Michaels-Training Montage reminds me of Rocky vs. Drago-Montage, where Rocky has to train under less fancy conditions than Drago.
