malikail57 and it didn’t have to! I agree with Ric (a very rare occurrence) that Hennig should have been kept with the horseman. NWO needed a real faction to feud with, and with Benoit, Flair and Hennig it could have been a good team (especially if they made Mongo an auxiliary horseman and replaced him with an actual worker like Milenko who i believe is comparable to Tully within the original incarnation).

I love actually going back and watching it all and deciding for myself. I actually disagree with a lot of www’s match grades. He puts far more emphasis on the moves performed than the storytelling of the matches. Ideally a match has both aspects, but if it only has one he has a heavy preference for the move heavy matches over the storytelling based matches.

@@SamuraiSameer if I cast my mind back, I think I meant it’s funny how Vince thought that Time Warner investment into WCW would make them too powerful to catch and compete with. When in reality, the Time Warner money and merger, meant that their standards and practices took away what made them successful and resulted into their sale to Vince.

Aside from just taking a beating, Public Enemy also pulled off a few moves you wouldn't expect from guys that look like them. They may not have been the best in the world, but they were better than people often give them credit for.

Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner with the ability to go like early 90s Scott Steiner would have been the biggest star in the history of wrestling. Scotty's biggest problem was by the time he changed his gimmick, he had taken so much damage that he couldn't have the same great matches he had in the past.

This skit I think was referencing Basic Instinct as much as it was A Few Good Men. The Irony is the Time Warner merger is what lead to Ted losing control of his own company and in turn to the demise of WCW, it was the Time Warner people who replaced Bischoff with Russo.

Very late to the Wrestling Bios game, but absolute loving this series. Amazing how small the Nitro roster seems compared to RAW at this time. Its the same 10 people in a different order every week. While WWF obviously also has heavily recurring characters, at least theres a variety of mid card matches!
