I just made this soup for dinner and loved it! Will be making it again. What's the temperature of the soup cooked with the soup setting?

That's a good question and I'm not sure, I would need to test it with a thermometer. I would estimate about 80 degrees C. Thanks for watching :)

That gorgeous smile you wear makes you look so SOUPED up! Thanks for your great video! Tomato soup in my Vitamix ascent is my favorite thing to make! Do you have a recipe using DRIED split peas for split pea soup in the Vitamix? Decades ago I saw it done at the State Fair and I can’t find that recipe anywhere, only using fresh peas. I’m looking for dried peas. Thanks! Keep up the Wonderful videos you do! Blessings!😃

hi there, great vid thx mate. I don't understand how the blades friction with the water creates heat!?? if so,why the the smoothies come out cold ??
@RawBlendAustralia2 жыл бұрын
Good question! Yeah pretty amazing and I couldn't figure it out when I first saw Vitamix over 25 years ago. When you make a smoothie you usually use ice or frozen fruit and only blend for about 45-90 seconds. Vitamix will heat about 10 degrees every minute from the friction heat, so if you start with cold water it takes about 6-7 minutes to become nice and hot. When you make ice cream you use lots of frozen fruit or ice and only blend for 30 seconds, if you let the ice cream run for another few minutes it will turn into a smoothie and then in another 5-6 minutes it will become an ice-cream soup haha Hope this makes sense and Happy Blending!

New subscriber and loved the first video I watched ! I am looking to buy the A3500 tonight and really need to know if the Vitamix A3500 and A3500i are the same? TIA.
@RawBlendAustralia2 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for subscribing and apologies for the delayed reply, I usually only reply to video comments once a week. The A3500i is the Australian version of the A3500 in the USA. The "i" stands for interlock container as in Australia we have the interlock containers, which have a magnetic strip through the container into the lid, a safety feature if you remove the lid whilst blending you can't cut your hand off 🙌

Hi, what is the final temperature of soup? Is closer to 90°c or 40°c?
@RawBlendAustralia3 жыл бұрын
This one is closer to 90 degrees celsius to purely showcase the steam. You can blend it to whatever temperature you desire. A general idea is that the Vitamix will heat it around 10 degrees every minute. Happy Blending!

The motor underneath lets off a slight smell and it's a little loud kzbin.infoUgkxCKuMxLnvr6fJd_M4SE-n7trcGj3zEUHq but considering it's size and how hard it works to do the job, it's sort of expected. I assume the smell will go away over time. Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!

What I *Dislike* about this Vitamix *video*, is that MOST of Us - DON'T have the Latest & Greatest Vitamix model. Plus, I was Looking for a **NO Thrills** Tomato Soup. Do you REALLY Require/Need some of the "extra" Items ?? Please Give to OPTIONAL information. Thanks

@RawBlendAustralia3 жыл бұрын
Hi Sylvia, feel free to sub whatever suits your dietary needs. Instead of the coconut cream you could use a light version or 1/3 cup of Oat milk. Instead of the Cashews you could try half cashews and half white beans (cannellini beans).
