@Gore4ever FulciLives Having 500kg on your back requires amazing mental fortitude. I can drop a heavy deadlift and walk away, not to mention that if there is technical failure you still have a chance of brute forcing it up at lower weights. It is a different story with a squat. Just getting under that weight and walking it out would psych most people out and technical failure means that you are probably getting folded. It is all just opinions really but the squat will always be the king for me.
@nowthatsurban5 жыл бұрын
@Gore4ever FulciLives exactly. With a squat or bench press, you can feel the weight on your back and in your hands - you have time to mentally prepare for the it. A deadlift is just raw, explosive power; your body doesn't get to prime itself for the weight you're about to lift.

You have guys in gear lifting his RAW WR as their gear WR's. Ray just changed the ballgame.

Bench is very weak for his sheer mass
@tombean23475 жыл бұрын
I agree, his bench should be around 640 plus for his size. Hes not far off that goal if he shoots for it, even larry wheels has bench pressed that.
@tyler98045 жыл бұрын
@@tombean2347 larry wheels is one of the best benchers in the world in his weight class, plus he is on so many roids it's not even comparable to ray

@@tyler9804 do you really think ray is clean... lance armstrong was also drug tested...
@dessertlimbo5 жыл бұрын
Tyler Graham ray isnt natty at all but i think he was going safe on his bench because the squat and deadlift were more important to get the highest numbers so he probably held back on the bench or didnt train it as much as the squat etc

Although I like Ray he in no way hit parallel. Every competition you look he doesn´t hit it. Not saying is not impressive af but the judges are not going with the rules.
@ChaosCreator735 жыл бұрын
Honestly I think he got deep enough. It’s hard to tell cause his quads and belly completely hide his hip crease but I bet if you took an x-ray his femur would be below parallel to the ground
@trif0ld5 жыл бұрын
The bigger some body is the harder it is to tell from the front, because what looks like his hip crease is actually just the top of his quad so in reality he's going 3-5inches lower than we can see
@jefferylord30685 жыл бұрын
your wrong his femur goes slightly below parallel

def hit parallel, youre either blind or stupid

Hi guys, you are salty af. Relax, we are talking about a fucking SQ. I know these things: -The bigger the harder to see -Front and a little bit higher angle tends to look like a higher SQ I have considered these things and still doesn´t look to me like he hits parallel.
