He then won several more trophies including a Europa League which is really downplayed in the video. Spain's downfall started in 2013, a year before he joined them, and he had nothing to do with it. @@calm123 costa was terrible in champions league, in the two cl campaigns he played in at chelsea hazard had more goals and hazard almost single handedly won us the league in 14/15 while costa missed 9 of the last 16 matches and only scored 3 goals in that span. He was our last great striker but that doesn't negate anything I said in my original comment. He often ruined the potential fluidity of the attack by holding onto the ball too long and losing possession because he just wouldn't release it quickly enough. Hazard also outscored him in the 2nd half of the 16/17 season and led us to another title. Costa was just a little too selfish and inconsistent to really help take chelsea to that cl contender level and Chelsea really should've never had any regrets about letting him go when they did because he went back to atletico and did nothing lol.
