I always thought what do parents tell their kids when there’s different races of kids who are all friends and say a song comes up with the “word” that should not be said by other races but here it is being used in songs? I didn't see it that way. I saw a drunk girl who mimicked what Rayna said about a white person. To me that says Heather thought her and Rayna were closer friends than in reality bc while Rayna is telling her 1 thing she's going behind her back and saying another. I honestly feel bad for Rayna. She was such a different person at the beginning of the season versus the end. She let everyone see her sweat & allowed other peoples actions to effect her behavior, work ethic & attitude. By the end of the season she was portrayed as the stereotypical angry black woman, when in reality she was just misunderstood & misguided. She's very much in need of self reflection & personal growth, otherwise shes going to remain tied to that stereotype so long as she acts like that. Which is extremely unfortunate.
