I purchased this keyboard with the green switches. It is a bit loud but it feels really nice and doesn't hurt my fingers after heavy typing like on some of the cheaper keyboards. I was also impressed with the amount of options for customizing the lighting. and best of all it matches my Wacom tablet and printer perfectly.

The Razer oranges feel like the blues and reds and it depends on how you press them. If you smash the keys or press on them hard they feel like reds with a little noticeable bump. You barely notice it. If you press it softly you can feel the bump but it doesn’t feel like the green’s click.

I just bought the Razer Blackwidow Chroma v2, green key. I swiftly found a problem with the keyboard. I had installed all the stuff that comes with. As I was about to start playing in a game I realized that the key was phantom entering letters. I'd hit the back button and suddenly it would just randomly start adding new letters at random. I looked up the bug after deleting the Razer programs. The only fix I could find was one that involved installing everything but the special macro program. As I don't use macros I didn't mind the idea of the loss. For anyone who desires that feature it might be a deal breaker for you as they haven't fixed that bug as of yet. I do love the glowing keys, the feel and sound. I probably would have bought one with less click sounds if I was paying attention but it isn't going to kill me. I did find the whole 2 USB and 1 sound plug to be odd, if you're not into hardware and have limited knowledge on the topic, it was strange looking and found that the instruction manual did not include the wtf those wires are for. I figured it out swiftly enough and unplugged all but one USB for obvious reasons. This is a downside to the wiring as the other two just kinda float there, hang and collect dust, or will as I just installed it today. Now, over all, this keyboard is kinda nice. It lacks a few features that would have been nice, like a sound up-down button instead of the click fn + one of the F keys. The color wave and lighting options are fairly good as well but not 100% the way I'd like them to be. As if you do the reaction glow it only does 1 color instead of rainbow. For most this wouldn't be an issue I suppose but I like the rainbow fx and would have enjoyed a rainbow effect as you click the keys, such as each key lights up another color from the last. Is this keyboard really worth the money? I say it depends on what you value or desire. If you're looking for a flashy keyboard that just looks good but is a regular keyboard in all other aspects, this is your keyboard. If you desire more options for gaming you might want to look into a different keyboard. (Not everyone has the phantom key press issues with the macro program but a few have) I'd give the keyboard a 3/5. I got mine on sale, would NOT have paid full price for it.

There is a metal plate inside for rigidity, also if u want metal look at the BW X. The razer siwtches are made by GREETECH, they are quite good (less scratchy then cherry in feels, but no idea bout durability) The RGB is also quiite a bit brighter then the Corsair boards (had them side by side). All in all i dont think one is better then the other, prefer media controls, go with corsair, want brighter rgb, go razer.

Das Keyboards are the best imo, I dont own one personally but i tried my friends one for over a week, and i love it, i currently own the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2016 edition, and i also have the corsair K70. They are all good keyboards but i prefer the Das Keyboard, for its minimalistic and classy look. this is my rating for them: 1- Das Keyboard. 2- Corsair K70. 3- Razer Blackwidow. I had to put the Razer last because of 3 things, 1-the plastic design, although its sturdy af, but after all its plastic, when you spend over a $120 for a keyboard it, should have a metal chassis. 2- the rubber pads of the keyboard are super tiny, and one of them came off after like 3 months, they should put bigger pads. 3- I have the green switches they are obnoxiously loud I know they suppose to be clicky, but it's just super annoying, I dont own a Cherry MX blue switch keyboard but i think it's a little bit quieter then the Razers green switches. one last thing, Razer has the best software ever, i wish corsair could learn from them, it is super user friendly, everything is simple and easy to navigate. i have been using the logitech g11 and it doesnt seem as bright as it used to, so i am looking to get a new keyboard. I just want to be able to see the letters at night and dont want to see them backlit. Is there anyway to turn it off? it seems it would just glare at me.

I think English Keyboard layout has small split shift keys and a larger Enter key than USA keyboard layouts. He's from the UK. The clue was him talking about £ not $ at 6:46. I had a K95 none RGB build quality was slightly below average. About 20% of my keys are now blank from use and about 40% of my white LED are no longer working. I stick to buying a Corsair power supply but a Razer Keyboard.

I have a horrible experience with Razer orange switches. Double registering keys galore which leads to mistyping 70% of the time. Is this a common problem? I also have a CherryMX blue switch keyboard and this never happens. #MadeInChina problems maybe?

Pierre Akol Razer did fuck up in the beginning by cheaping out with some made in China switches for their keyboards but they learned from their mistakes and improved their quality. Razer keyboards are actually really nice. I own a black widow chroma and have no complaints except I regret getting the green switches. (I thought the clicky sound was really cool but shit got too loud and people complain about it online lol) Don't get me wrong I love corsair keyboards. In fact I'm trying to save up for a k95 or k70 rapidfire (haven't decided yet) but I think it's funny how someone becomes so biased and brand loyal to a keyboard and just say Razer is complete shit just go with corsair.
