I had this for over a week now. The switches are very fast and extremely responsive. Takes a little bit getting use to but feel great once you get it down. Really no complaints except for the relatively loud typing sound. It's less of a mechanical switch sound your hear on other Cherry switches for example, and more like a solid "thwack". If you sound isn't a concern for you I definitely recommend it

This keyboard is really good, but its def very very loud. Especially the spacebar. I doubled up, even tripled up some O rings and it made a huge diff. The board sounds so much better to me now.

I personally have this keyboard and to be honest it is not that loud. I previously had other keyboards with blue switches and compare to huntsman, this keyboard is quiet. You add O rings if you want but you don't need them. Overall, it is an amazing keyboard, it is really fast and you probably at the beginning will accidentally hit different keys but once you get used to it, you will loved this keyboard.

From my personal usage of the Razer Huntsman TE, it's really really fast and responsive. however, the speed of the keyboards actuation point is really really sensitive. especially for normal typing, it's crazy - you'll have a lot of typos. just a little note here for anyone that is considering it. other than that - amazing keyboard from quality to functionality.

Man. You saved me right just now!!. I removed the spacebar of my huntsman TE (out of curiosity) and i didnt know how to put it back.!!! i try to find instructions on google but i didnt find one. @@JoshQwerty you have to eject the stabilizers from the keycaps and press them individually (just the stabilizer, without the keycaps, one at a time) toward where they should be clamped until you hear a click sound. The stabilizer wont clamp in the bar if it is intact with the keycap because it cannot be pushed enough. The keycap will hit a surface before the stabilizer is pushed enough to be clamped

Cedrick Domingo Yea thx figures it out already. The trick was to place the two stabilizers in before the actual spacebar and then attach the spacebar to the switch and then one by one carefully place each stabilizers hole in place

You're goddamn right with the LED indicators. I actually have it illuminated in white, and man sometimes I press capslock without anything to tell me. Would be so easy to also change the light color of that key when you activate capslock via software

So I'm watching this review after watching your Huntsman Mini part 2... How come you say this KB is worth the price but the Huntsman with linier switches isn't? Your main issue seems to have been the sound, but with the Mini, the sounds is even quieter than the TE, but you say the Mini isn't worth its price.

I literally just got the one with the green keycaps and it's very touchy, but they designed it to be that way. I am going to get a phantom keycap set so I can get the full potential out of the rgb since a lot of colors don't show through the green caps like i thought they would (unless its red, red shows up perfectly)

they both rattle, but don't when using, just when shaking. a4 felt like a much shorter key press. also the huntsman comes with DS PBT caps.

bro if you had to sit down with this keyboard or the apex pro tkl which would you choose? Sound doesnt matter to me but im more concerned with the switches, ive used cherry mx speed switches with 1.2mm activation and felt like i couldnt type. This being 1mm seems like i would have that same issue bumping keys or accidentally actuating one resting my fingers on the buttons which makes me feel like the apex pro is maybe a better thought. Then i think well if i just get used to it but the question is will i lol

I have this and the elite with these switches. The abs is definitely really quiet in comparison. Love my TE for when I go on the road to game at my friends house personally it's better typing experience too.

I find these switches and the board itself much quieter than the BW Chroma TE and my Turret in the living room. I’m just done with clicky/ticky switches. It can be loud if you bottoming out the switches when typing, but you don’t have that hollow tick to accompany every keystroke either. Just want a wireless version now

do some research before making statements - Ducky has had PBT keycaps on some of their keyboards for awhile now - Coolermaster Pro s PBT was out with PBT keycaps a few years ago Corsair K70 MK2 SE has PBT Keycaps it also came out a year or 2 ago this is not to take anything away from the huntsman TE - its awesome - I actually bought one a few days after it was released - amazing board !!

No, membrane are like tactile, you press until it goes down. These linear you need to press all the way down or like halfway, there is no like bump. Also these are optical so they activate reqlly fast and they make an amazing sound. Oh and you can change keycaps

I know already passed 3 years, I just got this keyboard and the performance like speed is very good but there is some things that is almost deal break. First the synapse doesnt save profile in memory board doesnt matter what settings we use there it will be gone after uninstall or exit the program. Second it cant enable game mode all the time after restart pc needs to enable again to have game mode, even if it could enable all the time, it makes the F10 key go white and clash with the rgb. The sound feels very cheap while typing compared to more tradicional switches. Only good thing about this keyboard is how fast it is while gaming 1mm actuation is noticeable. If I knew all this stuff before I would rather buying other keyboard but in the end not disappointed with the product. For enable game mode I just used 3rd party program to disable win key without F10 white all the time. If you are in market for a new keyboard and only care about speed this one is good for the price. Its a shame this big company doesnt onboard memory manager like logitech.

How do u like the te but u dis on the mini

The TE was a fair price for a TKL, but as seen in the Video I also stated it was way way to loud and I couldn't use it. Second my biggest gripe on the Mini is all the commercial hype around it, when other reviewers bash on boards with rattly stabs, yet the mini gets a pass, not cool!
