‼️Update‼️ After a month of using this controller ive developed stick drift on my right analog stick. It looks like this is something happening with both versions of the V3. For this reason, i could not recommend this controller at this moment. Id hold off until they fix some of there issues. I want apologize, you're able to remap controller without software. I used the online manual which didn't have the option. How to: Hold function button and paddle you want to reassign. Then press the button you like to apply. Thanks to everyone in the comment section for bring this up to my attention. Appreciate it 🙏

Stamping the Razer text in both sides of the A side of the USB cable was a dumb thing to do. No way to tell at a glance which way is up. Nice that this has Hall effect sticks.

I bought the wireless version because I play Xbox. Can confirm it’s the most responsive controller I’ve ever used on Xbox, the buttons in the back are just as responsive as the face plate buttons. Plus the fact this controller has 250hz polling on Xbox which is 2x as fast as other controllers is nice. And I see you got nice taste because I use those same Kontrol Freeks haha.

No. We have all the top the controllers, XBOX and PC, run FPS Games. Xbox is locked at 250HZ max. Elite 2, SCUF, Razer all get around the same (250hz). The only way to get the 1000HZ is through PC.

You can absolutely change button mapping on the fly without the app. It’s in the instructions where you use the function button. What is crazy is having multiple profiles and not being able to pick them on the fly. That makes profiles useless. Also why remove the swappable thumb sticks? They can’t cost that much.

The thumbsticks on this controller are not removable. So keep that in mind when you’re ordering. They don’t mention it on their website. I sent mine back due to this reason. The pro version does have the removable thumbsticks.

I’m on the fence about this controller. It looks good but there’s one thing I can’t seem to get confirmation on. Is the audio jack good with wired and wireless headsets? I tried other Hall Effect Pro controllers but that part was poor and terrible on them.

Hi bro. How’s the size of this controller compared to the V2 chroma? That one was very uncomfortable for me. Matter of fact I still have it and never use it at all. It’s very uncomfortable and thumbstick is horrible for shooting games (apex). Have you used that? If so how’s it any different from this

I'd say it's about the same tbh. It's just the paddles placement is different. Are you on PC? If you are just get the Vader Pro 4. Best controller controller w/ Xbox layout that I've used this year.

@@loitersquadX same here I prefer symmetrical. Flydigi Vader pro 4 is an all around good controller. You get 4 paddles, paddles are also better, and you have tension sticks adjuster. I've been switching back forth between them and I love both. I'd say Flydigi just because you have more useful features with that controller. But both are great can't go wrong with either.

I don't think it's backward compatible. You can probably use a converter.

@@kevdecimates2158it does work, I haven’t tried remapping the buttons but it works without having to download any software. my top 3 controllers of all time is #1 wired 360, #2 astro for ps4, #3 ps5. this razer controller is hands down better at response times. I hated the standard controllers for xbox series x and xbox one, they’re too clunky and I swear that sometimes the buttons I click never register and lag in those response times by several seconds.

I think all hall effects sticks have increased tension, which I've noticed with my other controllers. Pretty sure it has to do with the magnetic in hall effects sticks

In app set to circular mode. Deadzone 0 or 1. Some people are noticing some drift at 0. Other than that you just have to get use to it and put sometime to get use to the controller. I personally prefer playstation controller.

vader 4 pro or this V3 tournament $100 wired version. I have both with me now because I couldn't decide so I had to order both. I'm trying to pick one to keep, but it's tough. I went through several elite series 1 and series 2 controller warranties and I finally gave up on them. Costco got tired of me returning the series 2, they finally just asked if I wanted a refund instead haha. They are junk.

Bro trust me I have been a playstation user for 10 years but 2 weeks ago I bought an xbox especially for this controller, and when I tried the regular xbox controller with it's different layout I felt more comfortable with it than the ps5 controller and it's layout, I don't know why but I got used to it literally right away. So, don't be hesitant to buy one If you really like this controller.

I'm testing the heck out of the vader 4 pro and V3 tournament edition trying to choose just one winner. It's tough. Vader 4 has a lot going for it and Flydigi seems to care about their features and software. A big game changer was the game For Honor. To do a zone attack is RB + RT. That's annoying, right? Well, the vader 4 software lets you setup a button as a macro. Now, the zone attack is just one quick button press. Razer needs to step up their game with the software. These little Chinese companies are putting them to shame. The vader 4 pro is also wireless and has gyro. A crazy amount of features for under $100.

I have the v1 TE, the paint on the buttons would disintegrate over time so the blacked out buttons is definitely a good step up. Only thing wrong with my V1 is (other than the paint stripped buttons) the rubber condoms on the analog sticks are pealing- it's been 2.5 years! so I might pick one of these up just for a cleaner look (first world problems :)) plus you can never have enough controllers right? My brother still games on my x360 madcatz on his PC! lol maybe I'll give him my old one when I upgrade. I want my madcatz for when I wanna play my x360! I'll never get another one of those lol (no j/k, that controler is HORRIBLE- but fact is xbox one/ series controllers like these don't work on the 360 so kinda'?).

My brother still loves his V1 and it's been like 4 years or something. He likes it so much, we finally found an open-box almost new version on ebay so he could have a backup V1 for whenever his main one stops working. The face buttons have worn off, the rubber on the sticks is gone, but the thing is still working like a champ. I have the V3 and vader 4 pro here right now testing them both, but he held them and wasn't interested. The V1 is still king to him lol.
