Overall a really good first run, nice job. A couple of times it looked like the instability was caused by the front wheel briefly lifting off the ground, then not being straight when touching down. You can find videos of that happening in full size bikes, the result is not pretty. The other times it seemed to happen as you were braking/slowing down. Your front forks are way behind the steering axis which is very unusual, and places the wheel axle way behind the steering axis too. When leaning to the side, this causes the steering to want to lean more away from center instead of straightening, and this tendency will increase under braking as more weight moves to the front wheel, at the same time gyroscopic stability is decreasing. I would try placing the forks slightly forward of the steering axis.

You need direct linkage to the steering so that it has a solid connection. Also adding some positive rake will help. I would make the lean bars from one rod and a little wheel and bearing so that it rolls and does not scratch the ground getting caught on cracks and rocks. Check out the bikes at Holeshot Hobbies for how to do the lean bars correctly with a bearing. That's how I have my Nuova FAOR NF-EVO SP- Nitro RC bike that I race in GP. I am amazed at how you can build one from scratch. You are a skillful engineer, craftsman, and artist. Great Job Marko.

Cool bike. It has what they call "Death wobble" usually caused by loose steering linkage. Try replacing your servo suspension linkage with connecting rods. That should tighten up your steering linkage and correct your death wobble.

Nice build. I’ve been experimenting myself on a mx bike. I’ve learned If you can add in mor 18:55 e rake and reduce trail it will be more stable. You can hide the rake in the steering head and triple clamps and still keep the same fork angle. This also give more steering range which helps self correct better and helps on low speed turning

Your triple tree on your steering are backwards you want the flat part om front it'll make steering better and wheelbase little longer

Obviously you're a master builder and engineer, but as someone who has done rc bikes can i make 1 recommendations?, the lean bars you used.. we use 1 rod with a bearing on the end of it so that when the bike does lean it rolls as we found with the u shape rods they get caught on stuff. Also stiffen up the front steering, make it direct steering. Other than that, your projects and building is freaking awesome!!! ive watched them all!

Lower the gain on the gyro and adjust the PID, once it's at speed you really don't need the gyro at all. That's prob why it gets the death wobble.

I'm wondering if having a heavier front wheel will help. When you add super light wheels to full sized bikes they get twitchy
