May i point you to the TRX4 Sport with a clear body.! You save a few on some tech that is rarely used AND you get to paint it yourself.!! Keep me posted on that.!!

Such a beautiful truck..! The leaf springs are amazing..! Unbelievable how scale this truck is out of the box..! Next time your friend has the Marlin out, ask them for the transmitter... Well it is comparing a leaf spring rig with a hard body built for SORRCA Class 1 to what amounts to a linked lexan bodied class 2 rig. We went out to have fun and get some cool footage and have some fun too!

So maybe I used the "vs" tag a little too liberally...LOL Rusty is right on this one, I was in a heavily modified linked class 2 rig, and Rusty was in a super scale rig with leaf springs... My TRX-4 may not look so special at the next comp going up against scx10II, and the like... One thing that I can say that I LOVE about the TRX-4 is the ridiculous ground clearance.. Thanks for the killer comment..!

I compaired mine to my gen7 and my moded gen7 is working awesome but the trx4 sport is better it never got hung up but the gen 7 did. take a look at this you may be suprised what the trx 4 does to the axial rig! kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnKvcqx8nauibcU

I am actually not all that surprised Shen..! The sport model is killer..! All the perks of amazing ground clearance, and on a stripped down trans and all time locked diffs...! I am currently converting my gen 1 TRX-4 to a Sport model... I never used second gear out there, and I must not be all that advanced of a crawler because I was all diffs locked the entire time as well..! The sport is super sick..! The Marlin is just so damn scale..! Thanks for the vid link, I am checking it out now..!

Portals are not an "upgrade". They have pros and cons. My trx 4 with ar44s outperforms my trx 4 with the stock axles. Mostly due to the cog being ridiculously low after removing the portals. The trx4 is an amazing truck, but it's not because of the portals! It's because they designed the chassis with a really low cog to counter act the lift from the portals. So when you delete them, its insane.

OMG, I remember this day.! I fried my new GEN7 out there.! This TF2 kicked my ass out there. And I brought two trucks. Suspension was stock because this was an early RTR version of the TRX4. Great comment, many thanks.!
