I notice even on your previous videos that It has a distinct sound compared to other RCs when rolling. Is that the pinion and spur? Or is it that strange looking center disk brake?

Yeah It’s probably the disc brakes chattering up against the metal pads

So the running of the gas version 5t is it something you miss ? Or is this worth it ?

Well I’ve got other gas powered machines so I haven’t gone completely away from gas powered….for me this conversion is worth it…..because I’ve gotten more use out of my 5t in the last few months, since the conversion, than the previous 5 years of it being gas powered…just for the simple fact that I can run it at so many different places and not have to worry about making too much noise…the biggest disadvantage of electric is the run times though….even with huge 9000mah 4s packs we’re talking 10-15 minutes run time…..I could possibly buy another set of packs….so far the electronics have seemed to stay pretty cool after each bash….But packs are expensive….even with the short run times it’s still worth it for me….hopefully you find that somewhat helpful……also this brushless setup with this gearing is quite a bit faster than when It was gas powered….I wasn’t running the stock engine either….I was running a OBR Zenoah Full Mod….
