Hi, did you notice that temperature of the motors is too high? For me, after a simple cruising flight, the motors are so hot that I can't touch them. I tryed with a 3S 1500 and a 3S 650. With 650 the temperature is lower but still high. I don't understand how people can flight with a GoPro session on it

My guess, as to the rubber strips, would be that they're soft bumpers for the guards to make it even more soft target safe.

Bruce have you talked to the council about contracting aerial surveys of the water weed in the lake? It would be an accurate way of seeing any changes etc, especially as we have 1 Gig fibre around Tokoroa. It should be very easy for them to receive HD and 4K videos from yourself.. Regards Laurie

how long have you had this? i have just received mine and it has a tarsier V2 and the antennas are underneath running rearward at around 90 degrees apart, much better placement IMHO, . not sure how those foam pads are supposed to fit on the bumpers unless you cut them into short lengths to fit between the little gusset thingys, i thought they were to fit along the bottom of the arms to act as a damped UC.

EnglishTurbines: I can agree with you there bud. I'm in Coventry and it's been a crap winter. We've had so much rain it's a pity it was not cheap enough to ship out to our Aussie brothers & sisters to help out with their drought! Mind you, now we have left the EU, we can go back to buying all that beautiful New Zealand Lamb the French buggers got massive tariffs on to stop us buying it. Anyway, I digress. That video of slow movement around the statue is the type of RC photography I want to do. I was especially impressed when the HGV went past and it appeared to make no difference with the air vortex passing it.

NICE!!! #1 Just looking at this Cine drones design, fit and finish I liked it immediately. #2 Glad to know the Tarsier recording has been rendered proper in your vid for clarity of performance but mounting this little jewel with 2m holes will present a tooling challenge for either of my blanks frames that will run the Radix LI with 3m holes. Will have to flip a coin to see which one will get it.

Would there be a gain in stability from slinging the battery underneath?
@nono93705 жыл бұрын
PiDsMedia nope
@PiDsPagePrototypes5 жыл бұрын
@@nono9370 can you explain more? Putting the mass underneath would seem to be the way helicopters work best, why would it not improve stability? In race cars the mass is put as low as possible to improve handling, where in a truck it's up high, making the truck more unstable in cornering or on steep grades.
@nono93705 жыл бұрын
PiDsMedia in a helicopter the rotor is above center of mass...
@nono93705 жыл бұрын
PiDsMedia in a quad you want centre of Mass just above or just below the props
@PiDsPagePrototypes5 жыл бұрын
@@nono9370 So below is okay then. Will it be more stable or less stable then above? Physics would suggest more stable, which would help improve the stability of the camera, meaning less post-production smoothing.

hi... how do you get 4k camera to record?
@MnPaul15 жыл бұрын
That FPV footage is better than what I have see in most of the caddix reviews. I wish that I could use it. My 4" cinewhoop only has room for a single board camera. I have been looking at the runcam but keep hoping for a higher res Foxeer. Give me a Predator/HD combo. My whoop flies well in wind too, as long as you remain horizontal with the ground. Get perpendicular and the wind gets you.

Geprc make some pretty nice stuff, I modified one of their cx3's with an 800mw vtx, tbs crossfire and the runcam hybrid goes great on a 4s 850/650 my last video has flight footage from it, currently building one of their cx3 pro frames to carry a gopro :) The tarsier will do 16:9 in 2.7k at 60fps but its a 4:3 sensor so the image is linear stretch and doesn't look great. Best to shoot in 1440p and dynamically stretch to 16:9.

The foam pieces are for the bottom of the carbon fiber frame not directly under the motors but the arms right before the motors ,you cut the strip to size and stick it on bottom of arm so U will have little elevation from the ground. They do fall off when you crash and they do leave sticky marks on the bottom of the carbon fiber frame 🖼 .PS.God bless you keep up the good work, us hobbyist especially the 🇺🇸 happiest are going to more than ever with the FAA getting involved they’re going to get their money regardless we just make them see a smarter way of doing it in a more reasonable without taking our personal privacy and rights away .
