When I was in year 6 1985 I carried a toy world catalogue around from June until Christmas Day,in the catalogue was tamiyas frog hornet grasshopper and the hot shot,all I wanted was one of these cars .christmas morning there was a nice Tamils frog under the tree.the best Christmas ever.

Had one of these catalog with the Tamiya's lunchbox but never found it under my tree I had to wait untill a few years ago when Tamiya decided to make them alive again :-)

Thanks for the look inside. I'm very tempted to buy this kit but its one of the most expensive ones I found ($700 US) and still requires more $$ before it can be running under power. I will be checking your build vids!

Great unboxing mate! I'm looking into getting another kit for my oldest son and I to build he's 7 so i'm not sure which kit to go with, I've built 2 scx10 kits and know they're pretty tough but I don't want to spend $500 or $600 on something like this for a 7 year old until i know he is going to like it. I think the scx10 might be the way to go

I hear you, good that you can afford to finally get your dream "toy" haha. I'm like you, I enjoy building them more than operating them. I've build a bunch of electrics and a couple of gas ones. Ran them for an hour or two, cleaned them up, put them under glass (acrylic). If I had the boxes for all my dinky, corgi and hot wheels, I could probably sell them all and retire. That is, if my parents would let me have them hahaha. (I've got an original beatles yellow submarine, original black beauty, batmobiles, bat boat, james bond aston martins, etc. most in near perfect condition but missing some of the removable parts).

love that truck ! i so wanted one as a young teen when they came out . lol i remember it fell to the same fate as the bruiser . poor sales as they were so expensive , that they discontinued it. i really the roll liked the bars compared to the partial cap the bruiser had. you got the sweetest of trucks in my opinion ! will get me one some day . B>)

Do this kits put their price in the box, like some other model kits usualy printed the factory recomended price in the barcode section of the box. ?
