Not sure where you get the idea that scale vehicles are losing popularity. There are a bunch of solid-axle monster trucks, racing trucks, and off-road trucks that have been released in the past couple years. Not to mention, touring cars are still as scale-accurate as they've ever been.

Simply marvelous! The best snow car video I have seen... I love the Tamiya classics and here you have made it to perfection! Perfect cab work, paint job, I love the side blinker lights, a "sexiest" thin solid axles I have seen on RC car. Love the jumping on the leaf springs! Especially in slow motions... Fantastic nature places like from fairy tail... Perfect camera, everything... Matteo, what could be better?... Congrats! You make the best advertisment video for Tamiya cars... :-) If I could allow just one idea of "scale-feel" improvement, what about some piece of matt black vertical lexan plates under the front mud guards to prevent possibility to look thru the model under the bonnet, where in reality it is not possible. Just add simple pieces there... Maybe this could still enhance the overall perfect look of this amazing car... Once again, congrats for this piece of art! :-)

Thank you for sharing another exellent video as always! I just bought a Montain Rider today, nice to see it in the alps, I look forward to take it for a drive in the mountains too! You like to upgrade and modify your cars, so may I make a suggestion for an upgrade for the Mountain Rider for you: - replace the rear leaf spring suspension with a four link suspension as on the CC-01 chassis (rear suspension) with conventional dampers with coil springs, using Tamiya parts if possible, or from the Axial or Vaterra. Replace the front leaf spring suspension with a four link suspension with conventional coil spring and dampeners like an the Axial/Vaterra. This to give the the truck more articulation and softer spings for rock crawling. - convert the 3 bolt hub to the standard 12mm hex with a conversion upgrade kit, so 1.9" wheels with 96-108mm tires can be used. - fit a SUV body like the Rubicon Jeep Wrangler or its like on the chassis, transforming it from a monster truck to a scale rock crawler car. This is a upgrade/modification I would like to do myself, nice to see you did it first, so I can see how it should be done :)! Best regards. Cheers.

I think they have to be on their original condition. (except the tires, you can see on this video different tires) Otherwise if I like to have a rock crawler car I can buy directly a Vaterra Ascender or an Axial SCX 10. Only my opinion.

Thank you for answering! Thinking about it, you have right. The Mountain Rider is an iconic legend, and should be kept original. I will keep it original too, exept for tires, I will try different tire/wheel combination that suit my driving the best, and leave the rest as original as possible too. Maybe just add windshield wipers and a driver figure in case, from Tamiya too, to keep everything Tamiya. Cheers.
