​@@ZootedSosa I am not part of "plant people", but their reaction is totally logic in terms of human behaviour, it's not different from how other people react to things. Every human would be "passive aggressive" if you do something that hurts their feelings. To make an "extreme" example, if you think human life should be respected and you see people killing other people, wouldn't that make you "passive aggressive"? Because your feelings are being hurt, very simple. Independently of who is right or wrong, perhaps you should empathise more with other people to better understand their behaviour and to respect their feelings, if you want your own feelings to be respected too. You can make your point and say your opinion, but respect comes first, instead of trying to make them look like "crazy passive aggressive people" to humiliate them in front of other people on the internet.

My mom has Mimosas. She had to repot one. The plant dropped all its leaves, branches, and began to wither. They are so dang dramatic!

Its not dramatic. Its their survival mechanism that kinda like flushing the water out to make the leaves shrivel. Maybe cause too much water was taken out, the plants ultimately die

The stem doesn't/can't. Mimosa pudica has what's called a compound leaf. The many tiny leaflets and the "stem" (petiole) that connects them to the main plant are all one leaf. The leaflets can fold together, and the petiole can collapse, and that is as much as the plant can move, the actual stems (where the petiole emerges from) does not have this ability.

Life plant is a different genus than the mimosa pudica. There is Bryophyllum daigremontianum life plant , aka Abundant goddess. Kalanchoe tubiflora, aka Chandelier, native to Madagascar. Kalanchoe houtthonii , aka Good luck plant native to South Africa. Or the best Life plant, Bryophyllum pinnatum an African wild form.

They don’t the leaves are a different species you might see some reaction depending on time of day but not as reactive as mimosa pedica. You could try at night the leaves fold up.
